Jewel: I'm gonna go 'head and guests they let you out the hospital today.
Andrew: Damn right they did! I'm free baby, time to go get some!
Jewel: Slow down there tiger, fresh out and you wanna party? I don't think that's a good idea. Did they give you a personality change while you were there too?
Andrew: You know I'm just kidding, but it does feel good to be out of there now.
Jewel: So are you going to tell me what you were in the hospital, for almost two weeks for?
Andrew: I'm not telling you anything until the next time I see you.
Jewel: Why didn't you tell me when I was there?
Andrew: Because it wasn't the right time. Anyway, Comment ça va?
Jewel: Is this a French lesson?
Andrew: Yes it is, I asked you how you were.
Jewel: I'm fine, could be better.
Andrew: Repeat after me, Je suis d'accord
Jewel: I can't say that. It's difficult.
Andrew: You haven't even tried, babe.
Jewel: Babe, Drew were you talking to me?
Andrew: Uh, no. I was talking to Sophie, she hasn't tried to do her, um addition problems yet.
Jewel: It's only the seventeenth, I'm pretty sure school doesn't start until the twenty sixth.
Andrew: Yea I know but I still want to give her a head start. My mom is actually thinking about homeschooling her like she did with me.
Jewel: Alright. So, um, back to French I guess.
Andrew: Right, French. Say je suis d'accord, I promise you it's not that hard. French is just as easy as Spanish.
Jewel: Je suis d'accord. Is that it?
Andrew: You got it! See you I told you could do it, all you had was try.
Jewel: Well I'm happy that I said it right, but what did I say?
Andrew: You said "I'm okay". So now you know how to start a conversation. Do you wanna try it out?
Jewel: Another day. Right now, I just want to talk. Drew I honestly don't think you how much I was worried about you. And whenever your mom called-
Andrew: My mom called you? She never told me she called you. What did she say? Was she mean? Did she tell you anything embarrassing?
Jewel: Yea she did. She kinda just asked me about how long we've been talking. She wasn't mean or anything and trust me nothing embarrassing was said.
Andrew: Are you sure, because I know how my mom can get. She's very belittling at times and can be a bit overbearing.
Jewel: Yea, she was pretty chill. She wants to meet me though and I don't think I'm ready for that.
Andrew: Is that why you came to the hospital after she left?
Jewel: Is that bad?
Andrew: No, I'd be scared to meet your parents as well. Meeting someone's parents for the first time is just as scare as meeting a new person.
Jewel: I don't exactly live with my biological parents, so you'll be good.
Andrew: You're adopted?
Jewel: Not exactly. For a very considerable chunk of my life I lived with my god parents. I just moved out last month. But I do see my real parents, it's not like they completely abandoned me. When you don't have enough to support a family of six, something has to change right?
Andrew: Since you were the oldest they figured it'd be easier if you left? It's not completely understandable but I still kinda get it. I just couldn't make my child leave like that though.
Jewel: It's not like I held it against them, they had to make a sacrifice and if that meant giving up a child, even if only temporary so be it. I was only with my god parent for about a year and a galf so it wasn't this huge chucnk of my life.
Andrew: Well I'll call you later, I have to get ready for church now. Sophie says hi, and Amanda wants to speak to you.
Jewel: Now?
Andrew: No, she wants to speak to you in person. Mom told her about you and now she wants to know every aspect of your life.
Jewel: Amanda's your twin right? She's only looking out for her literal other half.
Andrew: I know but she likes to pry and it annoys me so much.
Jewel: Tell her. Now go het ready, call me, text me, do what ever just get in contact with me later.
Andrew: Au revoir, ma douce.
Jewel: Au revoir.
