"Rise and shine, my Lady," Royce said as he threw open the curtains the next morning, blasting me with sunlight, "We get to train today!"
I looked over at him, squinting, before turning over and throwing the covers over my head, "No. Too early."
Moments later, a heavy weight landed on top of me and the blanket shielding my face was pulled away. I frowned and peeked an eye open, only to see Royce's golden eyes merely a few inches in front of mine.
"It's time to wake up, my Lady."
"Get off of me."
"Will you get out of bed if I do?"
"Sure."
He smiled, "If you don't, then Sebastian will be the one to wake you up for me."
I thought about this for a moment, "Sebastian would still be in a bad mood from yesterday,"
"Indeed, he is."
"Fine," I said and pushed him off of me, sitting up in the bed.
"That's a good girl," Royce said, chuckling slightly.
I just glared at him before climbing out of the bed, walking out of my room and going to the bathroom. Royce followed behind me, humming to himself as he looked around. When we got to the bathroom, I looked back at him, pointing inside of it.
"Are you going to follow me inside or wait out here?"
"I wonder," he smiled and then pushed me into the room, sitting me down on a stool.
"Oi!"
"Just sit down and let me take care of you, 'kay?"
"G-get out!"
"Nope," he was still smiling.
I frowned at him for a moment. When he didn't move, I simply sighed and said, "Just don't be a creep."
"The thought never occurred to me, my Lady," he said and opened the cabinet, pulling out a brush. He flipped it over in his hands once, then twice, frowning, "No wonder why your hair is always a mess. This brush has to be at least 10 years old, and half of its bristles are gone."
"My hair is usually a mess?"
He raised an eyebrow, looking down at me, "You didn't know?"
"...I don't really know anything about that stuff."
He smiled gently, "It would be my pleasure to educate you. You know, a lady's face is very important."
"I know that much. I've always tried my best to take care of it," I said and raised my hands up to pat my cheeks, looking in the small mirror I had beside the sink. I guess my hair was kind of a mess?
"I know that, my Lady," he said and crouched down beside me, picking up a single piece of my long, blonde hair, "Hmm... just a moment."
I looked over at the door as it shut suddenly, and then Royce was gone. I tilted my head to the side, confused as to where he had gone. Now that I was by myself, I shrugged and stood up, locking the door before going over to the toilet.
After I finished, I stood up and walked over to the door again, unlocking it. It immediately swung open, and there was Royce with a bright smile, shaking a brand new hairbrush in my face.
Surprised, I immediately raised my hand up and punched him in the face. Or, tried. He dodged easily.
"What a warm welcome. I'm glad that my Lady is in such a lovely mood this morning."
