I stare out the window, watching the college kids unload their cars, crying, or hugging there parents.

David opens the door and runs to open mine. I smile and he warmly returns the favor.

My mother's heels click on the concrete making her way to the trunk that holds my 3 suitcases.

I stare with wide eyes at the large campus I'll be staying in for the next few months.

"Are you okay?" David asks, sliding his hands up and down my arms. I nod and he kisses my forehead and runs off to help my mom with the suitcases.

I huff before grabbing a case and a huge bag with some decorations in it.

"Brianna, I wish you would've brought something you actually need." My mother sighs, closing the trunk, dragging the suitcase in her wake.

"I have everything I need mom." I press and she ignores me, walking confidently in front of both David and me.

She looks around the campus of, Rossmore University. The ground is flooded with college kids.

I sigh and feel my jaw clench from nervousness.

We finally make it to our floor and search for C7.

"Oh, it's right here," David says and my mom thanks him, I just smile and walk into the empty room.

The only thing inside if it is two beds, a desk, a lamp, and two chairs.

"Wow, roomy." My mother says sarcastically, putting the suitcase on my, now, side of the room. It has a window right by it and I look out it and smile.

I place the suitcase there as well, David following soon after.

The door opens and two girls with fishnets under there booty shorts walk in. I smile and wave. They do the same. My mom's jaw is slack as she examines the girls.

One girl has red, curly hair and a crop that reveals her bra. She has freckles and a nose ring.

The other one has black, straight hair and a white mock neck on. She has a piercing on her belly button making my stomach churn.

"Hi! I'm Brooklyn!" The girl with the black hair says. She leans in for a hug, I gladly accept.

She smells like weed.

"I'm Brianna," I say and she pulls out of the hug.

"I'm Maria," the other one says, examining me up and down. My cheeks turn red as she gives a faint look of disgust at me. I pretend I don't see it.

"You must be her sister!" Brooklyn compliments my mom and I notice she blushes.

"Oh no, I'm her mother. Thank you though, Brooklyn."

After talking with my mother and David we head back downstairs to say goodbye. David and I hand in hand.

I wish he could come over here. I'm going to miss him.

"Alright, this is it." My mother says, cupping my cheeks, "my babies growing up." She frowns and I smile.

"Mom..." I whine and she kisses my head before letting go.

"I love you, call me later." She turns around. David steps in front of me.

"Don't do anything stupid." He chuckles and I smile.

"I'll try my best not to." I tease and he tilts his head and pecks my lips, leaving me unsatisfied, but I don't say anything.

"I'll see you later Bri." He coos before climbing into the car, waving before t speeds off.
