33, Brianna

Daniel presses his lips to mine and pulls me closer onto his waist. I kiss him back... But don't feel anything. We pull out of the kiss and he smiles at me. He pulls me into a hug and I look around and see Shawn. Some giant hookers devouring his neck. He's staring at me, his mouth is fallen open but he quickly closes it. Daniels hands travel down my back but I don't notice. Shawn looks away and pulls the thot off of him, throwing her into the water. She yells at him but he ignores her and swims away, looking back at me once more.

Daniels hands are now on my ass.

"Woah." I say and move back to look at him.

"What?" He asks and I shake my head.

"Um," I look around and see Brooklyn, "Brooke's here. I think I'm gonna go say hi." I lie and he nods. He kisses me again, still nothing.

"See ya later, babe." I cringe at the words and smile. I get off of his waist and swim out of the pool. I quickly grab my jacket and wrap it around my waist. I look back at Daniel and he's talking to some boys. I go into the house and to the kitchen. I see Shawn reaching over to get a drink himself.

"Shawn?" I ask and he groans.

"What?" He hisses and I roll my eyes.

"Fine. Nevermind." I mimic him and turn around.

I stumble to the bathroom after talking to Shawn, putting my drink down on a table, searching for the right door. When I find it, I close the door, walk in and look in the mirror. My hair is drenched and dripping down my shoulders.

"Aw man." I pout and begin tying my hair up. I hum along to the music outside when the door opens, "woah buddy, someones in here." I say and turn around, dropping my hair.

"Alright, I think we gotta talk." Shawn says, pushing the door open. I step back and he closes the door.

"But we just talked." I smile and sit on the counter. He crosses his arms.

"How's your first date with him going?" He asks and I groan.

"Terrible." I pout and his eyes widen.

"Looked like you were having a great time.." He growls and I cross my arms.

"You didn't look to mad yourself. There was a giant hooker sucking on your neck." I talk back and he laughs.

"Sure I did." He sarcastically says, "so why was it terrible?" He asks and I slouch.

"He kissed me," I run my hands through my hair.

"Well, isn't that something that usually fucking happens?" He chuckles and I shrug.

"Yeah but I don't think I like him." I whine and he looks shocked, "it's just not the same. I-i," hiccup,"think I see him as a friend."

"So that means you yelled at me for no reason, ey?" He teases and I sigh.

"Its not the same kissing him how it's like kissing you." I say and he goes stiff. I shrug and hop off the counter, "I'm gonna try to make the best of this party. Without my boyfriend touch my ass." I say, making a blek face.

"Wait what?" He says and grabs my arm gently. I sigh and turn to him, he looks down on me.

"In the pool he touched me tooshie." I slurr and he looks pissed.

"Your not going to hang out with him. No." He demands, bending down to where I can smell his alcohol built breath and I furrow my eyebrows.

"Watch me." I demand back and he clenches his jaw. I smile and turn around to grab the doorknob and he pulls me back.

"No no, okay. I just don't want you being with him because you know for a damn fact you won't be comfortable." He says, rubbing my arm with his thumb.

What.

"Why are you being nice?" I stumble and look up at him.

"Because I care." He says and I nod, "I want you to break up with him.'' he demands and I scoff.

"What?" I ask and he sighs.

"Brianna, break up with him."

"Why?" I yell and he laughs.

"Are you kidding me? You don't like the fucker, so why not?" He yells and I cross my arms.

"Your just jealous." I tease and he stops.

"I am not fucking jealous." He tenses and I roll my eyes.

"Are so." I stick out my tongue and he chuckles and nudges me, "fine whatever, I'll stay away from him for TONIGHT but I'm not gonna break up with him." I deal and he sighs.

"Okay, I'll take that." He says and someone bangs on the bathroom, making me jump.

"Get out of the bathroom." A drunk girl slurrs. I wink at him and grab the doorknob. A random chick is literally banging her head on the wall.

"God, you both took so fucking long." She groans and pushes past the both of us, pushing us both out. Slamming the door.

He puts his hand on my back and walks me outside. I see Brooklyn and Daniel together. I quickly hide next to Shawn and he looks at me.

"What the hell are you doing?" He chuckles.

"I see Dani." I say and he looks around.

"Oh hey Shawn!" I hear Brooke say.

Shit shit shit shit.

"Bri?" I hear Daniel say.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck.

"That's my name." I say and take a sip of my beer. Daniel glares at Shawn, Shawn huffs out a breath. Dani walks over to me.

"Wanna play pingpong?" He asks and I just stare at him.

"Can we talk?" I say slowly and he nods. I hold his hand and walk him over to the side of the house.

Looks like I'm gonna do what Shawn said to.

"You alright? Did Shawn do something?" He asks and I furrow my eyebrows.

"No, of course not." I say and he nods, "um, Daniel, you know I like you."

"I like you too, Brianna." He smiles and I tilt my head.

"Daniel, I like you as a friend." I slurr, "I think I might like another person. And I'm sorry." I hiccup and his face softens.

"What?" He looks so hurt. I pout and put my hands on his cheek.

"I'm sorry." I say and he just blinks at me.

"I think imma go." He says and walks away. I frown but have a feeling of relief. I wait for him to go where I can't see him before walking back towards Brooke and Shawn.

"What happened?" They ask in unison and I sigh.

"He's sad." I say and they stare at me.

"That's it?" She asks and I nod.

"We were together for less than a day, big deal." I laugh and she nods. Shawn's just smiling.

"I guess." Brooke laughs and we end up agreeing to shots. When we're done, Shawn pushes me in the pool, picking up Brooke and jumping in with her.
