i guess great minds think alike, or a lot.

RED PAINT SPLATTERED all over my canvas, and slightly on the wood of the easel. It looked quite violent in my opinion, so I smirked at it. Annie turned her head to look at my canvas.

"What are you painting, it looks very graphic." She snickers, laughing at my non-blended painting. I shake my head at her, while adding some more colors and blending them all out.

"I'm painting a sunset. It's nature, so I decided to do it. Although the red might be a bit too much, it's an exaggeration to accentuate colors." I explained, thinking of Ponyboy.

"Wow, I didn't know you liked sunsets. I'm painting a waterfall." Annie responded, turning her easel to face me. I nodded at her painting, she was real good at painting.

I made the silhouette of the fence and some trees that I saw while looking at the sunset from Ponyboy's backyard. A grin began to grow onto my face.

"Why are you so smiley?" Annie asks, staring at me.

"Oh nothing." I giggled, confusing her even more.

I finished up my painting, adding more colors, silhouettes, and my signature. I put my signature in the bottom right corner, which were my initials in a fancy, cursive font.

The bell rang in my ears, making it hard to hear. Annie made her way to her next class, since she had second lunch. I went to lunch, since I had first, which Johnny and Ponyboy did too.

I usually don't eat at lunch, so I just snatched a table for Johnny and Ponyboy to sit at as well. I saw them approach the table slowly. Ponyboy had a bag of trail mix and a water bottle, and Johnny had a sandwich.

"Hey guys, how was your day so far?" I ask, trying to start up a conversation.

"It was fine. I'm super tired though, I hate Tuesday's." Ponyboy whined, popping an almond into his mouth. Johnny took a bite of his sandwich, then shrugged at me. I knew Johnny hated school, so I didn't mind that he didn't verbally answer me. His actions were enough.

"Let's get out of here, it's so loud." Ponyboy says as he crumples up his trail mix wrapper, and Johnny finishes up his sandwich. I nodded at him, then left into one of the hallways. I stopped to go to the bathroom, and told Johnny and Ponyboy to wait at the end of the hallway for me.

After I finished in the bathroom, I walked out, making sure I didn't slip on the water, spilled on the floor.

"God, Ponyboy you'll regret this." An annoying, voice loudly exclaimed. I heard loud clicks of boots walking away from Ponyboy, and it was Tessa.
