Jade's Pov

After kong hinatid si Yan dumiretyo na ako agad sa office at gaya ng inaasahan naming dalawa late talaga ako

Dali-dali akong pumasok sa office ko at nag-ayos ng mga gamit sa table ko saka ako nagsimulang magtrabaho

Bumukas ang pinto ko at iniluwa si Cath na seryosong nakatingin sa akin

" Oh hi Boss Jade you're late its very un-usual for you, I mean never kang nalate " she said I just smiled

Yeah something came up thats why I'm late I replied she's intently looking at me as if trying to figure out if i'm saying the truth she just smiled and nodded

" I'm just kidding Boss, you're so serious. Anyways you're our Boss here hehe " uhm it feels like she's just acting jolly today

Okay then so I just call you if I need anything I said she just smiled

" Ah before I forget Boss your signing of contract with Ms. Galang will be tomorrow " she said

Okay, did she mention where she want to sign it? I asked

" Yes Boss she wants it by lunch " she said I just nodded

Alright, fix my schedule make sure walang masasagasahan bukas sagot ko ngumiti lang sya ng tipid

" Do you want me to come with you? I mean are you sure your gonna be okay to be with her? " she said worriedly I just smiled nasanay kasi syang sumasama sa akin but maybe not now I'm not comfortable with the idea

You don't have to worry Cath. I will be fine I stand and walk towards her. I hold her hand she sighed and hugged me tight oh my I didn't expect it. I imagined what Yan will react if she's here

" Okay just call me if there will be a problem " she whispered

No worries I said and smiled

" Okay then see you later Boss " she said I just nodded and watch her walks away

Hay Cath was always there when i'm down, when i'm broken, when things get rough, when I don't even understand what's happening, when I was about to give up she never left me even I pushed her away how many times.

But reality hits me, whatever she do I can't reciprocate all her efforts. She's been so nice and thoughtful to me I felt guilty about it. It feels like I'm taking her for granted but I don't want to give her any false hope

I'm in a deep thought when my phone suddenly rang. A smile formed in my lips the moment I saw who's the caller it feels like all my worries and disappointment are gone immediately.

Hi why did you call? Miss me already? hehe it was Yan

" Uhm not that much hehe but i'm just checking if you already eat your lunch? " she said

Not yet maybe later, how about you? I asked

" Mhmh i'm not hungry, Mom and Dada was out so kinda bored here " oh I know that she's pouting right now😅

Come on, just cook for your lunch so that you won't get bored doing nothing

" Mhmh wala akong gana wala akong kasama tinatamad ako " sagot nya

Padeliver ka nalang ng food mo, samahan sana kita nako marupok kana naman kaso busy ako dito sa office sagot ko napabuntong hininga nalang sya
