a boy called me babygirl today
and princess
and at first it stung because
those words shouldn't be coming out
of a mouth that's not yours
but eventually
i let that go
i allowed myself to accept it
and almost embrace it
i realized that
you're not the only person
who will love me
or think i'm beautiful
i am realizing that not all boys are
shitty
lying
assholes
and that one day,
i will be loved again.
