GHOST?

(EVELYN HAVEN'S POV)

Mabilis natapos ang morning classes ko and it is now break time.

'Pati pala break my time?'

"Tara sabay ka samin" aya ni Leia but I refuse and stop midway.

"Hindi ako nakain sa cafeteria" sagot ko and she look at me clueless.

'I am not eating there really'

"What? Eh regular student ka naman ah" komento ni Maisie. Tipid akong ngumiti.

I never tried to eat in the cafeteria again after so many incidents that happen here in the school in the past.

"I know It's just that-" naputol ang sasabihin ko ng may sumingit mula sa likuran.

"Paano kasi she have a isssue there dati with her older sister." Ani Francoise Madeleine Calithea who is the Queen Bee at our school who bully Maisie the last time.

Kita ko kung paanong napaatras si Maisie at nagtago sa likuran ni Leia. Napangisi naman si Madeleine. She know my secret dahil sa past relation namin as best friends that turns into enemies.

"We are not talking to you. Sawsaw ka ng sawsaw hindi naman sauce ang pinag uusapan namin." Bawi ni Leia at tumapang ang expression ni Madeleine.

Before she even move forward towards Leia and Maisie humarang na agad ako sa harap niya at tinaasan siya ng kilay.

"So you are now making friends? How cool!" Puno ng sarkasmo na sagot niya tinitigan ko lang naman siya at hinila ang dalawa.

I don't know why I did that. I know I myself don't want to be attached to anyone.

'Takot na ako na masaktan dahil sa pag-iisip na aalis sila tatalikod at iiwan ako.'

"Malakas talaga tama ng babaeng yun" ani Leia saka tinignan si Maisie who is nearly crying just by seeing Madeleine.

"Ayos ka lang ba? Sabi ko naman sayo I will protect you no matter what" and then Leia hugged Maisie. Mapait akong napangiti sa isipan ko.

'We used to be like that'

Napatingin ako sa likuran nila when the three guys approach us. Warren just give me a look at lumapit kina Maisie, Melvin winked at me and waved while Edward walked towards my direction.

"Did you make her cry again?" matapang na tanong nito with his eyes saying he won't let me escape if I did.

Umiling ako and pointed Leia. "Ask her" tanging sagot ko and turned my back to them. Dumiretso ako sa tambayan ko and saw Allira there.

She is considering herself a friend of mine. Ewan ko why am I even trusting her. She is younger than me as she is just in her 10 grade in highschool.

"Hi Ate!" Masayang aniya sabay kaway sa akin. Paglapit ko nandoon sa maliit na lamesa sa loob na kubo sa garden ang pagkain.

"As always I prepare a cuisine from a different country this time from Italia!" Masiglang aniya and show me what she have.

I look at her and remember myself sakanya. She is cheerful and always happy I always wonder what she have in her mind if she ever feel lonely.

We eat together she keeps telling me stories until she told me two people.

"Do you know Ate Dianne?" tanong niya and I nodded who wouldn't know about the famous girl who is actually a daughter of a big company.

"She left the country and her pain here. I know  deep inside she doesn't want to leave but her heart and peace of mind just in chaos" kwento niya sa seryosong tono.

"What about Ate Aymaline?" Tanong naman niya and I also nodded. She is a daughter also of a famous person in business industry too.

"She is having a hard time being married to Kuya Bastien. Why do people fall inlove to someone who cannot love them back? Hindi po ba Ate?" Tanong niya and I just nodded.

I find Allira very mysterious as she keeps everything behind her words. What I mean is behind her words hidden different things she know will happen.

Napatingin ako sa labas when I heard someone kicking a can of softdrinks as I heard a sound.

There I saw a familiar figure his hair na parang hindi sinusuklay at ang gusot na gusot na damit niya.

"Is he Edward Caspian Dashiell?" Tanong niya napalingon ako sakanya dahil doon.

'How did he know his full name?'

"Sige ate may class na ako in 5 minutes. Bye Bye!" At tumakbo na siya papalayo.

'What a weird kid'

Paglingon ko pabalik kung nasaan si Edward wala na siya doon. Lumabas ako ng kubo and wander my eyes around when someone tap me in my right back.

Lumingon ako and horror is visible on my face when I saw no one. This time on my left someone tap my back. Dahan dahan akong lumingon and cover my face while screaming.

"Ahhhh!" naputol ang pagsigaw ko when someone put his hand on my mouth.

'Oh my god! Hinawakan ako ng multo! Tulong!'

I tried to shout but I can't this ghost left me with no choice. Agad kong kinagat ang kamay ng multo and the ghost push me in the grass sanhi ng pagtama ng tuhod ko sa bato.

"Hoy babae!" Napatigil ako sa pagdaing ng tuhod ko when some familiar voice heard from my back.

'Oh my god! Ang multo!'

Agad akong tumayo at dali-daling tumakbo. Everyone on my way to the clinic look at me. Iika-ika kasi ako dahil sadyang masakit ang tuhod ko and it is really bleeding.

Pagdating ko sa clinic agad na nagulatang lahat ng nurse. Agad nila akong inalalayan sa isang hospital bed.

"Call Doc!" Tili ng mga nurse. Napahiga ako dahil sa sakit. Lumabas kasi ang laman at pakiramdam ko naitulak paatras ang buto ko sa tuhod.

"Evelyn!" Tawag ng isang pamilyar na boses. I sighed in relief and close my eyes and let myself be drown in the darkness.

I wake up when I heard some loud voices laughing and chit chating sa katabi kong kama.

'That guy really love to annoy me'

"Grabe ang lala ng nangyare sa kamay mo!" Pagtawa ng isang lalake. I find it really familiar but I just ignore it.

"Kasi naman siguro ng prank na naman yan. And by the looks of the lipstick in his hand it is definetly a girl" hula naman noong babae.

I think they are about 5 persons. And I think kilala ko na kung sino sila.

"So sino ang lucky girl na nakakagat sayo?" Tanong ni Melvin. They are indeed the friends of Leia and Maisie.

"Someone na I just try to prank in the garden and think I am a ghost" nagulantang ako sa narinig.

I heard the curtains beside me open showing his smiling face.

"Right Haven? Am I a ghost to you?"
