SAFE

(THRID PERSON'S POV)

For the past few days tulala si Evelyn she is just lying down on her bed trying to sleep but end up with the same dream everytime.

Her worst nightmare as she called is something that hunts her everynight simula noong nagkulong siya.

Malinaw pa sa liwanag ng buwan ang bawat senaryo ng araw na iyon sakanya. But she never cry and just stare all day in nothing, drink water and try to sleep.

One day she gets up and realize something iba ang araw na iyon para may nagtutulak sakanya na may gawin siya para matapos na ang lahat ng iyon at mabaon na sa limot ang senaryong iyon.

She then sits infront of the vanity table stare at her reflection for awhile and decided to take a bath and return her old self by make up.

Matapos mag-ayos inilabas niya ang isang camera na lagi niyang ginagamit sa mga vlogs niya inayos iyon sa napakagandang angulo at background na parang normal na senaryo ng isang vlog.

"Hello Philippines, Hello World this is your angel Evelyn" matamlay na intro niya wala sa labi niya ang pekeng ngiti at nagsisimulang mamuo ang mga luha niya.

"You see for today's vlog I wanna be real for this time" aniya and control her tears and clasp her two shaking hands.

"Hi? I am Evelyn Haven Bryleigh." panimula niya iniisip niya na parang nagpapakilala lang siyang ulit na parang unang vlog niya.

"I have a story to tell to you na I want to share with you guys" she then get something beside the camera which is a box of tissue.

"I am not living the ideal family hindi totoo na ganoon na lang ang pagmamahal ng parents ko sa akin and I have a sister who left years ago na siyang pinapaboran nila" she then try to laugh it off

"Tawagin niyo na akong sinungaling and all but I want to tell you na hindi lahat ng nababasa, napapanood, nakikita, at naririnig niyo sa social media ay totoo. There are some vloggers like me na tinatago sa mga ngiti, challenges, edits, vlogs ang totoong kami" and her tears started to fall that she just wipe off.

"My sister left when she thought tinryador ko siya. That I stole his boyfriend who is in coma that time and actually crazy sa akin and attempt to rape me." Lalong nagsunod sunod ang tulo ng luha niya.

Her tears are like diamonds when the sun from the window with the curtain blown by the air strike at her face she look to broken.

"And then this year she come back and try to please me with I don't know reason but syempre hindi na ako tanga and try my best not to be deceive by her smiles and sugar coated words" paliwanag niya na natawa pa ng maalala ang mga salita at lambing na nakatatandang kapatid.

"Then I met this 5 people who change my life lalo na iyong isa sa kanila whom I always run and cry to. But everything is broken now wala na sila hindi na mabubuo kasi nabasag ko na sila. And the scene from the past hunts me" her cries turn into sobs na hindi na niya pinunasan.

"Now that is the true me hope you enjoy this vlog." aniya at pinatay ang camera.

Matapos noon ay sinimulan na niya ang naiisip niya marahan niyang itinulak sa isang lugar malapit sa bintana ang isang chair matapos maayos iyon may kinuha siyang lubid galing sa cabinet.

She then steps into the chair dahil sa bukas na bintana at pumapasok na hangin her black dress and hair is blown by it. Inabot niya ang isang kahoy sa ceiling then itinali niya ng mahigpit ang tali at ng masiguro she take a deep breath as she knew there's no turning back.

She keep thinking na matatapos na ang lahat ng paghihirap niya and then smile as she try to push the chair. Saktong pagbukas ng pintuan revealing her friends.

"EVELYN!" Sigaw ng mga ito agad naman tumakbo si Warren at Edward ng matumba ang silya. Edward tried to hold the weight of Evelyn to stop her from choking.

Agad namang tumuntong sa study table si Warren at dala ang gunting na nasa study table pilit niyang pinutol ang tali habang nagwawala si Evelyn para ituloy ang balak.

Edward immdiately throw her to the bed and hold her hand nagsimula na itong magwala at mag-iiyak.

"Bitawan niyo ako! I wanna end this!" Paulit-ulit niyang sigaw while crying naawa naman si Edward sa lagay ng babaeng mahal niya.

Lumabas muna sina Warren at naiwan si Edward na hawak pa rin si Evelyn sa kamay na nagpupumiglas. He then hug her and accept all the punches from Evelyn.

"Hush Haven I'm here" pigil emosyong ani Edward while Evelyn is sitting on the edge of the bed and Edward hugging her tightly.

"Ayaw ko na Dashiell" narinig niyang bulong ng dalaga he then started giving kisses on Evelyn's hair while calming her.

Matagal bago kumalma si Evelyn sumisinok na si Evelyn matapos umiyak lumuhod sa harapan niyan si Edward as he wipes her tears left on her cheeks.

"Evelyn don't do that again I am scared that you will leave me" pagkausap ni Edward as tears started rolling from his eyes.

Parang nagising si Evelyn sa isang bangungot and hug Edward ng makita ang emosyon ng binata parang binabasag ang puso niya ng paulit-ulit.

"I won't do that again" Evelyn whisper to him repeatedly napangiti naman si Edward and lift her up to tuck her in the bed.

Inalis ni Edward ang nakaharang na buhok sa mukha ng dalaga and stare at her intently as he continue to wipe the marks on Evelyn's cheek after crying.

"Tell me Haven what are your problems I will be here to help you" pagbubukas ni Edward ng usapan as he continue to stare at her intently.

She then started to cry while telling all of her problems that she is keeping all this time all that hunts her every night and that she wants for everything to come to an end.

"You should rest" payo ni Edward sa dalaga ngunit umiling ito and tap the side of her bed wala namang nagawa ang binata and lay beside her.

"Don't leave me please" pagmamakaawa ng dalaga tumango naman si Edward and pull her closer to him as he hug her and sing her to fall asleep.

Binantayan niya ang dalaga the whole time he wipes her tears, sing her a song, hugs her when she shouts in horror. There he realize that Evelyn hides millions of emotions behind her smiles, laugh and talks.

He look at her with so much love, pity and care. Maingat niyang inalagaan ang dalaga ng araw na iyon.

"You should not be afraid of anything as long as I am breathing your safe always."
