Part 4

"You have a date??" Hyunjin asks me. We're on the bus right now heading back to the store so I can drop off my application. Hyunjin came with me. We decided to go by ourselves. I mean, I like Jisung and Minho and Seungmin, but Hyunjin has been my friend for a long time. We haven't spent any time alone since we got to the college.

"Uh yeah, her name is Yeji. She's really cute and loves to read. We love the same books. She's cool," I say and smile shyly.

"Wow, Felix. It's your second day in Korea and you've made five friends, you already have a job and now a date, why can't I have a date?" Hyunjin pouts.

"Maybe people just like me better," I smirk and Hyunjin playfully slaps me on the arm.

"I don't see how, you're obnoxious," Hyunjin says and laughs.

"That's why you love me," I say and smile.

"I just think you're annoying," Hyunjin says.

"You love me and you know it," I say and smile widely.

"Sure," Hyunjin says.

"So, are you sure that you don't want to apply for the job with me? We can be co-workers!" I say excitedly.

"Eh, I'm fine, I'll think about getting a job later," Hyunjin says.

"Okay," I pout.

The bus gets to our stop and we get off. I walk to the store. I don't know where to put my application form. So I go to the checkout and look for a worker.

"Excuse me, where do I put my application form?" I ask a worker.

"Oh, I can take it, I'll give it to Mr. Choi," the worker says with a wide smile.

"Okay great," I say as he walks away. I could be working here soon. It's so exciting.

"Okay, so now that that's done, what should we do?" Hyunjin says. "We just got off the bus and it's not gonna come back for about half an hour to an hour."

"Hm, let's walk around. I wanna see the restaurant that Changbin told me about last night," I say and we walk out of the store.

"Oh? Your cute roommate," Hyunjin says and raises his eyebrows. I roll my eyes.

"Yep, you guys just missed him. He came to the dorm like five minutes after you left," I say.

"Aw man, I wanna meet him," Hyunjin says a little sadly.

"Well he's very busy, he's barely at the dorm, and I barely know anything about him," I say.

"That's unfortunate."

"Yeah, but anyway, I'm super excited about my date with Yeji."

"Oh, I also have to meet her," Hyunjin says.

"I don't know about that," I say.

"Oh c'mon, I wanna know who my best friend is going on a date with. I promised your parents that I would take of you, I need to know if this girl is going to break your heart," Hyunjin says seriously.

"I'll be fine," I say reassuringly.

"Fine, but I will wanna meet her," Hyunjin pouts.

"Maybe one day, let's see how this date goes first. Now, let's find the restaurant that Changbin told me about."

"Did you ask for the name for the name of the restaurant?" Hyunjin asks.

"No... I didn't," I say and sit down on a bench outside of the store. "I didn't think about that."
