Roommates //Changlix

Part 10

Changbin and I order some ice cream and go to sit at a table.

"So, how was your first week of college?" Changbin asks me.

"Uh, it was great. I've made a lot of friends already," I say and smile.

"So I can tell," Changbin says and smiles. "Is that why you've been out so late this whole week?"

"Oh no, I have a job, I work from 4 until 10?" I say. I haven't told Changbin anything about my job. He's always asleep when I get back to our dorm.

"Oh really?" Changbin asks, really surprised.

"Yeah," I say.

"Here's your ice cream," a worker hands us our ice cream. Thankfully distracting Changbin from asking any questions about my job.

"Thank you," I say and smile widely at the worker. The worker nods and leaves.

Changbin and I eat our ice cream in silence.

"Wow, this is really good," I say when I take a bite.

"I know right," Changbin says and smiles widely. I smile a little and continue to eat my ice cream.

After we finish our ice cream we start to walk back to the college. It's a bit of a walk and dark clouds started to cover the sky while we were eating ice cream.

"We should hurry, it looks like it's gonna rain," Changbin says when we get outside. It's lightly sprinkling water.

"Yeah," I say. I follow Changbin and we walk quickly.

When we're a block away from the college it's starts to downpour rain.

"Come on," Changbin grabs my hand and starts running across the street to the college. We run across to the campus and go into our dorm. As soon as we get inside, we're soaked and out of breath. I look and see Changbin still holding my hand, I feel my cheeks heat up.

Changbin looks at me and smiles.

"That was fun," Changbin laughs and I laugh with him. "Let's go shower so we don't get sick."

Changbin, still holding my hand, walks into elevator and we go up to third floor. Once we get to our room, Changbin releases my hand, which makes a little sad. He let's me shower first and showers after me.

"Are you hungry?" Changbin asks when he gets out of the shower at 8.

"Oh yeah, I am," I say, realizing that I'm starving.

"Wanna get some pizza?" Changbin asks. "I'll pay for it."

"Sure," I say and smile.

"Okay, I'll call the pizza place now," Changbin says and grabs his phone. "What kind of pizza do you like?"

"Uh, just cheese pizza," I say.

"Okay," Changbin says and orders pizza. We pick a movie to watch and the pizza comes. We sit on the couch in front of the TV and turn the lights off. About halfway during the movie I start to get tired. I try to stay awake and watch the rest of the movie.

"Felix, wake up," I hear someone say.

"Hm?" I tiredly ask, not opening my eyes.

"Felix," Changbin says. I open my eyes and see Changbin staring at me. My arms are wrapped around him and my head is on his chest. I feel my cheeks heat up and quickly sit up.

Changbin chuckles and I look at him, confused.

"Does my hair look messy?" I ask and quickly start to try and fix my hair.
