We get there and it's the pool. There's a sign in the window that shows all the hours it's open.
"So students can swim in the pool from 5pm to 10pm on week nights and 6am to 11pm on weekends," Hyunjin says.
"Awesome! We should come here some time," I say excitedly.
"Yeah, definitely," Hyunjin says. I look into the window. There's some students swimming.
"Felix? Hyunjin?" I hear someone come up behind us.
"Seungmin?" Hyunjin says.
"Hey Seungmin!" I say excitedly.
"Hey!" Seungmin says.
"We we're gonna walk around the campus, would you like to join us?" I ask.
"Oh sure, I got locked out of my dorm and Jisung is gone, so I'd love to walk around with you guys," Seungmin says.
"Oh? Where did Jisung go?" I ask. "And when will he be back?"
"I don't know, he said he had something to do and will be gone for a few hours, so I've just been walking around for a while," Seungmin says.
"Oh okay, well we're just walking around campus to learn where our classes are, so you can join us," I say.
"Okay great," Seungmin says and smiles. I notice Hyunjin who hasn't said anything. Usually he's really talkative. I see him staring at Seungmin.
It's been about a year since Hyunjin told me he was gay. He and Seungmin would be cute. Suddenly an idea forms in my head.
"Well, I guess we'll go to the main building now where most of our classes will be," I say and point to a building.
"Okay," Hyunjin says, looking away from Seungmin.
"I'd love to stay with you guys, but I have a date tonight, so I have to go," I say.
"Oh?" Seungmin says.
"You're already leaving?" Hyunjin asks me.
"Yeah, but you guys can still walk around," I say and smile. I hand Hyunjin my map.
"O-okay," Hyunjin says. I wink at Hyunjin who blushes and glares at me.
"Bye guys," I say, smiling.
"Bye," Seungmin says.
I walk away to my dorm. Changbin isn't there, so I take long shower.
I go through my clothes and look for a decent outfit to wear. I only brought a couple of suits. I decide to wear a suit. Than I style my hair to look nice. I look at myself in the bathroom mirror.
Am I too dressed up?
I hear somebody walk into the room.
"Felix?" Changbin asks, coming to the door frame the bathroom. "Oh wow. You look nice."
"Really? Is this too fancy? I should just wear some jeans," I say.
"You look good, it'll be fine," Changbin says and smiles.
"I don't know," I say and sigh.
"It'll be fine, seriously," Changbin says. "I'm sure Yeji will think that you're very handsome."
"You think? I hope so," I say and smile shyly. I feel my cheeks heat up a little.
"Just one thing," Changbin says, coming really close to me. My heartbeat starts to speeds up and I feel my cheeks heat up. It's almost as if in slow motion, I watch as his face comes really close to mine. Our faces our only a few inches apart when he stops moving. Then he takes his hand and touches my hair.
"There, you missed a strand," Changbin says and backs away. I just stare at him.
"O-oh, thanks," I say and laugh nervously.
"No problem," Changbin says and smiles at me. "I'm gonna go make some dinner for myself. Go have fun on your date."
He winks at me and leaves. I take a deep breath and try to calm down. I walk out of the bathroom and see Changbin in the kitchen, making some food. I walk over to my bed and text Yeji. It's 6:45.
Me:
Are you ready? I'm gonna come pick you up.
Yeji:
Yeah I'm ready. I'm in building C, I'll wait outside for you.
Me:
Great, I'm coming.
I put my phone in a pocket inside my jacket. I still feel like I'm over dressed.
"Are you leaving now?" Changbin asks me.
"Yeah," I say.
"Have fun," Changbin says and smiles widely at me.
"I will," I say and smile back.
I put on my shoes and leave. I get outside and a bunch of people are staring at me. I knew I should have changed. I don't exactly know where building C is. So I decide to ask someone.
"Um, excuse me, do you know where Building C is?" I tap a girl on the shoulder. She quickly turns around.
"Oh, yeah, I actually live there, it's right over there," the girl says.
"Okay, thanks," I say.
"No problem, you got a date?" the girl asks as she starts walking. I follow her.
"Yeah, is that obvious?" I ask, blushing a little.
"Just a little," she laughs.
"My roommate also has a date tonight. Is there any chance you're going a date with someone named Yeji?"
"I am actually, I'm taking her to a restaurant," I say and smile shyly.
"Aww that's so sweet! Well take care of her, she's like my sister. Break her and I break you," the girl says seriously.
"I-I won't, I promise," I say nervously. She's so scary.
"I'm kidding!" The girl says and laughs.
"Oh," I say and laugh nervously.
"Go have fun, but not too much fun," she winks at me, making me blush.
"I will," I say and smile.
"Well, she's right over there, I'm gonna go now, have fun," the girl smiles and leaves me.
I smile and walk over to Yeji.
"Hey Yeji," I say excitedly.
"Hey!" she says excitedly. "You look nice."
"Oh thanks," I say and smile. She's wearing a nice dress and some high heels. "I was scared that I was overdressed."
"Same! I almost changed, I'm happy I wore this though," she says and smiles.
"I almost changed too," I say and we laugh. I hold out my arm and she links her arm through it.
"So, where are we going?" She asks as I start walking towards a bus station.
"I'm taking you to a restaurant, we're gonna have to take a bus though," I say.
"That's fine," Yeji says and smiles.
