"Felix," I hear Hyunjin yell. I see him and wave.
"Hyunjin!" I say and run to him. I see an unfamiliar guy next to him. "You must be Minho."
"Yep, and you're Felix," the guy offers his hand to me which I shake.
"From now on, the three of us are best friends," Hyunjin says as he wraps his arms around our shoulders.
"Awesome," I say excitedly. "Where should we go first?"
"What about the games?" Minho asks.
"Yeah! Let's go," I say excitedly.
"Sure!" Hyunjin says. We play some games and win some prizes. It's really fun. This is way better than I imagined college to be.
"Attention all students," the principal says over the speakers. "We have some special performances by some of our fellow students. They will be starting in 10 minutes in the main courtyard on the stage we have set up. So please come watch if you'd like to.
"Let's go watch the performances," I say excitedly.
"Okay," Minho says.
"Sure, I'm gonna buy some popcorn first, you guys want anything?" Hyunjin asks.
"I'll come with you," Minho says.
"I'll take a water," I say.
"Okay, you can go get somewhere to watch and we'll join you soon," Hyunjin says. I nod and walk away.
I see somebody sitting at a table by themselves, so I go sit by them.
"Hi, I'm Felix, what's your name?" I ask the guy who looks up.
"Um, I'm Han Jisung," the boy says and smiles. He has cute chubby cheeks. "You can call me Jisung."
"Nice to meet you Jisung," I say and smile widely.
"Nice to meet you too Felix," Jisung says.
"Are you a freshman?"
"Yeah, you too?" He asks.
"Yep! Do you have a dorm in building B B?" I ask curiously.
"I do actually," Jisung says happily. "I'm in room 113."
"Oh, I'm in room 320," I say.
"Oh? I heard there are not a lot of students on that floor. Did you see anybody else?"
"Sadly no, I didn't even get to meet my roommate," I say and sigh.
"Oh, that's unfortunate," Jisung says.
"Yeah! I hope I meet him soon," I say as Hyunjin and Minho come and sit down.
"One water for you and some popcorn," Hyunjin says. "Oh, what's your name?"
"My name is Han Jisung, you can call me Jisung," Jisung says.
"I'm Hyunjin and this is Minho," Hyunjin says.
"Nice to meet you," Jisung says as someone taps the microphone. I turn and see a guy on stage.
"Hello, and thank you for coming. To all the new students here, welcome. I'm Christopher Bang, but I go by Chan. I'm a Junior and I'm really glad that all of you chose to come here. This is a great school, I'm happy you could join us here tonight. To start the performances we have a duet who will be performing a song they wrote themselves."
Chan leaves the stage and two students come onto the stage, the guy is playing the guitar and the girl is singing. A bunch of other students perform after them.
Then for the last performance, three boys go on the stage. One of them sticks out to me. I watch him the whole time. He starts rapping and I'm amazed by his voice. He's such a good rapper.
Their performance ends. It's about 8 at night by now. I wonder who that guy is.
"Wow, that was so cool!" I say amazed.
"I know right, all those performances were really cool," Jisung says.
"Yeah," Minho says.
The others continue to talk and I look back at the stage. Most of the people are leaving. I see that guy again, one of the people he performed with says something and he laughs. He looks so-
"Earth to Felix," Hyunjin says as he waves his hand in front of my face.
"Huh? Oh, hey," I say and look away from the guy.
"What are you looking at?" Hyunjin asks me.
"Nothing," I say quickly and blush.
"Well it's getting late, we should probably go back to our dorms," I say before Hyunjin can say anything else.
"Yeah you're right," Jisung says as we stand up from the table.
We say bye to each other and go back to our dorms. On the way, Jisung and I exchange phone numbers.
"Goodnight Jisung," I say and wave at him as he heads toward his room.
"Goodnight Felix," he says.
I go to the elevator up to the third floor. I hope my roommate is there. I unlock the door and walk in. Nobody. I sigh and go and sit on my bed. I decided to unpack my clothes and the food I brought. 20 minutes later my roommate still isn't there. I make my bed and change into my pajamas. I watch some TV and eat some ramen. My roommate still isn't here. It's already 9 pm. I'm starting to feel tired so I finish my ramen, turn off the light, and go to sleep. I'm disappointed that I didn't get to meet my roommate. I'll meet him tomorrow though.
