*A couple weeks Later*
The last couple of weeks I've been hanging out with Yugyeom a I've barely had any alone time with Changbin, which I don't mind. When we are alone, it's awkward.
"Hey Felix?" Changbin says. Changbin and I are currently alone in our dorm. I'm doing my homework and he's about to leave to go out with his girlfriend.
"Yeah?" I ask quietly. Not turning to face him.
"I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be moving out of the dorm tomorrow," Changbin says. Changbin has been acting like nothing happened, which has been making me a little mad.
"O-Oh," I say.
"Yeah, I figured I should tell you so when I leave, you won't wonder where I am," Changbin says.
"Oh... Nice to know," I say, trying to focus on my homework.
"Hey, you okay?" Changbin puts his hand on my shoulder. My heartbeat immediately speeds up. Why is he so close to me?
"Y-yeah, I'm great," I say.
"Then why aren't you looking at me when I'm talking to you," Changbin says.
"I'm doing my homework, so can you take your hand off my shoulder so I can focus?" I say, getting annoyed.
"Not until you face me," Changbin says.
I take a deep breath and turn my chair to face Changbin.
"You can take your hand off of my shoulder now," I say, avoiding eye contact with him.
"Are you okay?" Changbin asks me worriedly.
"I'm great Changbin! I've already told you this," I say.
"You don't seem like you're great," Changbin says. "Did something happen?"
"Why do you care?!" I almost yell and stop myself from crying.
"Because you're my friend I'm supposed to-" Changbin tries to say.
"I'm your friend?? Your friend?! You want to know what's wrong? It's you!" I stand up from my chair and Changbin bscks away from me. "You broke my heart that night at the party! And you're acting like it's nothing! Nothing!! And it's killing me, you're killing me! Ugh, I'm so happy that you're moving out of the dorm!"
"I-I didn't mean to," Changbin says quietly and looks at the ground.
"That's all you have to say? You didn't mean to? You didn't mean to break my heart?" I yell, my eyes getting watery. I don't know what I'm doing. I should stop, but I can't, I've held in my emotions for so long, it's relieving to let it out. I know I shouldn't take it out on Changbin, but I'm just so angry.
"I had to okay?!" Changbin yells at me, scaring me a little. "I had no choice!"
Changbin walks away and sits on his bed, putting his head down in his hands.
"What do you mean you had no choice?" I ask quietly.
"My dad, he's very homophobic, and when he found out about how close we were, he threatened me. So I had to hurt you, I didn't want to, but it's better like this anyway. You deserve to be with someone better then me," Changbin says and looks up at me, he has tears in his eyes. The sight breaks my heart.
"I-I'm sorry, I had no idea," I say, regretting yelling at him. I sit down next to him on his bed.
"I know, I should have told you," Changbin says and sighs. "I've always told myself that I'll never be gay, and I wasn't, but then I met you, and I started to develop feelings for you. I tried to convince myself that it wasn't true, but every time I saw you with that guy, I felt jealous. And eventually, I accepted the fact that I liked you, but it's wrong, and I'm sorry," Changbin says and looks at me.
"But it's not wrong, I'm sure if you just talked to your dad he would understand," I say and grab Changbin's hand.
"You don't understand, he would literally disown me if I was gay," Changbin says.
"Can I do something?" I ask.
"What do you want to do?" Changbin asks me.
Instead of answering, I lean into Changbin and kiss him. He backs away, shocked, but then he kisses me again.
A couple seconds later I pull away.
"Did that feel wrong?" I smile.
"No," Changbin says quietly.
"So, you should talk to your dad, maybe he'll understand," I say. Changbin stares at me, not saying anything.
"I'm sorry," Changbin says.
"What?" I ask.
"I can't do this, I have to go," Changbin quickly stands up.
"Where are you going?" I ask, confused.
Changbin opens the door then looks back at me.
"Goodbye Felix," Changbin says and closes the door.
