When I wake up in the morning, Changbin is gone. I turn on my phone and see that I have a text from my mom.
Mom:
Happy birthday Felix! Did you get the gift we sent you?
Me:
Thank you mom! And yes, I got your gift, thank you so much.
Mom:
Of course sweetie, I hope you have a good day. Go do something fun with your friends.
Me:
I will. You have a good day too.
I sigh and put down my phone. Hyunjin is apparently too busy to spend the day with me today. I should text the group chat, maybe they won't be busy.
Me:
Hey guys, are you guys busy today?
Jisung:
No, why?
Seungmin:
I don't have any plans.
Me:
Do you guys want to go do something today?
Jisung:
Like what?
Me:
I don't know, something fun? I'm bored and we have school tomorrow.
Hyunjin:
We would love to go do something with you, but we already have plans. Sorry Felix.
Me:
Really? What could you guys possibly have to do that you can't hang out with me.
Minho:
Yeah Hyunjin, what plans do we have today??
Hyunjin:
You know, the plans we talked about. 😑
Jisung:
I don't know what plans you're talking about.
Seungmin:
Ohhhh, those plans. Yeah, we're busy today, right guys?
Minho:
Oh yeah! In forgot about those plans, sorry Felix, we'll hang out another day.
Me:
Oh... Okay, well, have fun.
Hyunjin:
Yep! Happy birthday though Felix.
Me:
I guess. :/
I sigh and turn off my phone. Something seems suspicious about them. Does Hyunjin have something planned? If so, what could it be?
I wonder if Renjun is busy. I haven't seen him since Thursday at work. Before I can text Renjun, he texts me.
Renjun:
Happy birthday Felix!! 🎉
Me:
Oh thanks!
Me:
Do you happen to have any plans today?
Renjun:
I don't, why?
Me:
I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out with me today.
Renjun:
I guess I could hang out with you today. Where do you want to go?
Me:
I don't know, maybe we could just hang out here in my dorm.
Renjun:
We could do that, or we could go somewhere. I know somewhere we could go I'll pick you up in 20 minutes.
Me:
Okay great, I'll get ready.
I put down my phone and get up to get dressed. I wonder where Changbin could be.
