(A/n): {Will (Y/n) be okay? I mean, I get that I'm the Author, so I already know. I mean...don't ask me what's going to happen! I'm just the Author.}
{~Akira's POV.~}
I got to Leblanc immediately. Sojiro looked over at (Y/n) in my arms with a worried look in his eyes.
"Go put (her/him) on a bed upstairs! I'll see if I can find anything to help (her/him) for now! We'll call a doctor if (her/his) condition worsens!" Sojiro said. I nodded and did as I was told. I put (her/him) onto my bed since it was the closest one to the stairs. I looked down at (Y/n) in worry and fear.
"(She'll/he'll) be okay, right!? I'm overreacting! I have to be!" I thought as my mind raced. There was nothing I could do in situations like these. I paced around the room as I kept glancing back at (Y/n) in worry. It was like if I took my eyes off of (her/him)...(She'd/he'd) die. Sojiro came up to the room with Futaba to help.
Futaba seemed just as worried about (Y/n) as Sojiro and I. But I mean...why wouldn't she be? Sojiro put his hand on (Y/n's) forehead, and sighed.
"(She's/he's) burning up... I bet (she/he) pushed (herself/himself) yet again." Sojiro commented. I looked down. I felt like this was partly my fault for not doing what Sojiro asked me to do...
"I should have looked for (her/him)... I should have gone after (her/him)..." I mumbled to myself. Futaba, who was standing next to me, looked at me.
"Um...hey, Sojiro. He's not insane, is he?" Futaba asked while looking directly at me. I looked down at her, confusion written all over my face.
"What do you mean, 'insane'!?" I said. Sojiro glared at us.
"This is no time to be joking around! I'm going to go get (Y/n) a cold rag, along with some water for whenever (she/he) comes to." Sojiro said as he walked past us. I wanted to help, but I knew nothing about this kind of thing. Since I never had to worry about getting sick, or anything like this... I felt useless, and it pissed me off to no end.
"Why can't I do anything to help!? Why didn't I go after (Y/n) to keep this from happening!? Why am I so useless!?" I thought as I glared at the floor.
{~Futaba's POV.~}
Okay. I definitely don't like this Akira guy one bit! He's glaring at the floor for no reason, looks like he could kill me, and his eyes are glowing red! Just by standing next to him, I can feel pure rage coming off of him! Why is he so worked up all of a sudden!? I slowly backed out of the room before running to Sojiro. Once I got to Sojiro he glanced over at me.
"What's wrong?" He asked. I shook my head.
"Nothing! I, uh...just wanted to help you!" I said. Sojiro nodded.
"Okay. Can you carry the water for me then? Don't spill it." Sojiro said. I nodded.
"I won't!" I said as I picked it up. He already had the rag ready. We went back upstairs towards the room (Y/n) was in. I spilled a bit of the water.
"Oh...whoops!" I said. Sojiro sighed.
"After I told you not to... I guess it doesn't matter now. We're almost at the room, anyway." Sojiro said. I nodded.
Once we reached the room, Akira was still glaring at the floor. He didn't move from that spot in the room.
"Does he blame himself for this, or something...?" I thought before focusing on the task at hand. I set the cup of water down on a nightstand next to the bed (Y/n) was laying on. Sojiro put the cold rag on (Y/n's) forehead to help with (her/his) fever. I sighed.
"How long do you think it will take for (Y/n) to wake up this time...?" I asked as I looked over at Sojiro. Sojiro sighed.
"It takes longer each time... Last time (she/he) stayed like that for a whole evening." Sojiro said. I sighed as I looked down at (Y/n).
"Why does (she/he) push (herself/himself) so much...?" I asked. Sojiro looked at (Y/n) with a look of pity.
"(She/he) told me it's because (she/he) can't afford not to...because of (her/his) position as the Leader of the Demon Slayers." Sojiro said. I frowned.
"If (Y/n) keeps this up...(she'll/he'll) die!" I exclaimed. Sojiro nodded.
"Yes... It would be an extreme loss to not only the Demon Slayers, but everyone in this village, counting us..." Sojiro said. I nodded.
"Yeah... Is there anything we can do to make (Y/n) stop doing this before it's too late...?" I asked. Sojiro shook his head.
"(She's/he's) way too stubborn... But..." Sojiro trailed off as he looked over at Akira.
"I bet (she'd/he'd) listen to him." Sojiro finished. I looked over at Akira, then back at Sojiro.
"Him!? Really!? What makes you so sure about that...?" I asked.
"Well, Akira seems closer to (Y/n) than anyone else in this Village. Of course, I'll try talking to (Y/n) when (she/he) recovers, but if I fail then I'm leaving it up to him." Sojiro said. I groaned.
"That's like putting your trust in a rock! We don't know if what you said is true or not!" I said. Sojiro chuckled.
"True. But it's better than nothing." Sojiro said. I sighed in defeat.
"Fine... But we'll talk to (Y/n) about it first, just so we're clear!" I said. Sojiro nodded.
"That's what I meant. He's a last resort, in a way." Sojiro said. I nodded.
"Good. I bet he'll be just as successful as us, though..."
{~Akira's POV.~}
I overheard everything Sojiro and Futaba said. They left the room afterwards. What? It's not like they were quiet...
"A last resort, huh...?"
"Don't stay up all night being worried about (Y/n). (She'll/he'll) pull through eventually. (She/he) always does. Oh, yeah. I'll allow you to use a different room to sleep in, if you want." Sojiro said. I nodded.
"Okay. I'll keep that in mind." I said. Sojiro nodded before heading downstairs again. I looked over at (Y/n) before I sat down on a chair that was in there. It wasn't too far from the bed. I decided to stay up later in case (Y/n) woke up and needed something.
"I have to do something to help... And if sitting here all night is what it takes, I'll do it."
