The following days were busy for Yue, who started back-to-back studio recordings, photoshoots and interviews.
Even though Didi was kept busy with the management of Minatoya chain restaurants and song-writing, he made sure he texted her everyday.
Sometimes, they would chat right past midnight but once Yue made funny yawning sounds over the phone, he knew it was time for bed.
One afternoon, he decided to visit her at the studio. That week, the chef had created new recipes for the restaurant and he needed someone to give feedback.
Jia Qi teased him mercilessly when he was prepping the bento box for Yue. "Seriously, Didi, if Yue does not like you back, I'm personally going to put a knife to her neck and force her to accept you."
"And Jia Qi I thought you are an expert in love. You can never expect anything from loving anyone. My feelings for her will still be the same even if she doesn't feel anything for me," he replied, placing some pickle garnishing on the white rice.
Jia Qi sighed. "You have grown up but I still see you as my geeky friend. I'm not sure if you are smart or a foolish boy in love."
Didi laughed. "Best to use more of heart than mind when it comes to love."
"Love expert, please go. You make me cringe!" Jia said, waving him off.
"Here comes my love bento!"

Yue was taking a break when he came through the door. She had barely ate that morning and when she smelled food, her tummy roared. Her eyes lifted up when she saw him with a bento box.
"Is that food?"
He nodded. "New recipes from Chef. Can you help me try, please? Before we launch it next week."
"Of course!! What did he prepare?"
Inside the box was an array of food - Chinese yam fries, sashimi roll, rice paper eel salad roll and plum pickle onigiri. Yue started with the fries and immediately she gushed. "This is a must! Let me try the eel roll. Chef is a genius!"
