The lives of rap songwriter, Wang He Di and aspiring singer, Shen Yue, intertwine at a music club in Suzhou. It is love at first sight for him. But for her, love at first sight is the scariest thing, next to falling in love again.
*****...
The Humble Administrator's Garden was situated in the middle of the city and constantly bustling with visitors, being the largest and one of the most famous gardens in Suzhou.
Many international visitors flocked this UNESCO World Heritage Site, some hoping to check off their list of sight-seeing landmarks in China. When they arrived, there were groups of people but it was not crowded.
Yue was excited. Even after staying in Suzhou for so long, this was the first time she came. She found no reason or motivation to come alone, even if she were an ardent lover of flowers and plants, landscaping and anything cultural. She looked at the surroundings with her glittering eyes.
Didi eyed her. "It seems that both of us are tourists in our own city."
She laughed. "I won't lie. It's my first too."
"Awesome. We can explore the grounds together. I read that it takes two hours to complete it."
"Two hours!!" She exclaimed.
It was his turn to laugh. "Don't worry, let's take it slow. We can always come back again if you like." His voice low.
Come back again? A tingle ran down her spine at the way he emphasized the last phrase. It sounded promising. Maybe romantic even.
They walked next to each other, absorbing the greens and scenery before them.

Didi pointed out to her "Look! That bridge reminds me of Chinese dramas where the Huangdi meets the concubine."
"Not Huanghou?"
"It depends on what version of the story you want. Emperor tired of the wicked empress, looking for romance among his concubines. Or emperor looking for a new empress after she passed away."
"What is your version?" she asked curiously.
"I'm a one-woman man. Which is why I won't make it as an emperor," he grinned boyishly, looking at her.
Yue noticed his eyes almost looked light brown under the sun. She smiled. "That means I won't make it as the empress either." He tilted his head to look at her. "I can't take man who have concubines."
"So, we are a match. I like that." He replied, looking ahead, without realizing Yue was casting a soft glance at him. This boy. At certain times, he talked like a middle-aged man.
"I was hoping that this garden had relations with my family. Do you know it was founded by a former official who quit his career to cultivate this? He is a Wang too."
"Oh? Perhaps you should do a historical search. The Wangs lineage as I know is extensive."
They stopped at the middle of the bridge, looking over the river. Didi found a few pebbles and started to cast them out. They leaped over the water.
