My parents made their world tour. I'm really proud of them. They even climbed to the base camp of Mount Everest. That's something. So much more than I'll probably ever do in my entire life.
I stayed with them Saturday night and all Sunday. They told me everything in great detail.
Yesterday, I went to bed around midnight. I don't mind, I have the whole week off. I can sleep and spend some time on my laptop, writing stuff. Or just watch something on Netflix. I try not to think too much about the guys. Every time I do, I start to grind a little. I'm not helping my case, I decided to spend the whole day only wearing my underwear and my black lace kimono. It's comfortable. I hope no one sees me through the window.
My parents won't come visit me today. I bet they're not even out of bed yet.
I received a text from Teddy not long ago. I don't want to open it. I'm really afraid that he'll say something like "You look good in that kimono" or else. I should just make sure my door is locked. It is.
I open the text.
Teddy: So now, someone comes to get you after work?
He's probably just testing me. Trying to get some information.
June: What are you talking about?
Teddy: The black truck. I know who it belongs to.
June: You don't. You're just trying to scare me, like you always do.
Teddy: Is that so? What if I told you, I knew the name of the owner was Victor.
I don't respond. How did he find out?
Teddy: You're not saying anything, what's going on?
June: What do you want?
Teddy: Didn't I tell you before? I just want you to be safe.
June: I don't need you to worry about me, I don't need you. Aren't you suppose to be with your new girlfriend?
Teddy: You always do. Who's going to be there for you when he is going to let you down or should I say "They"? She wasn't worth it. I had to let her go. I'm in love with you.
June: They won't. Now, stop obsessing over me and go live your life.
Teddy: You're even more naive than I remember, you shouldn't expect anything. I don't think they would be interested in a girl like you.
I close my phone and trow it across the room. I take my pillow and scream in it. How can he put himself in my life like that?
I get up from my bed and go get my phone.
My phone is alright, it's my phone case that's not in great shape. It took all the shock. I have to buy another one.
Ugh...
I'll take a blue, this time.
What time is it?
7:45 PM?
It's already dark out. I should better get going, if I want it tonight.
I put some pants and a teeshirt on. I put my black Converses on. I take my purse, my coat and go out the door.
I put my headphones on and play "Chasing Cars" from "Snow Patrol".
I go down the street.
Turn around the corner.
