Chapter 21

*this is when Emma is going on a date with ricky*

Emma's POV

I closed the door behind me and walked towards Ricky's house. He told me his parents weren't home so no one else would answer the door. I knocked and waited patiently. I Instantly regretted leaving the warmth of my house because of the coldness of November.

The door opened and Ricky smiled at me.

"Hey, sorry for taking so long" he said. I swear his voice could end the world.

"I-it's fine" I stuttered. He smiled and motioned for me to follow him. We were walking down the street when I got a bad feeling in my stomach. I decided to ignore it and kept walking with him.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see" he said. I sighed. The one thing that I hate the most is surprises. Of course Ella knows from that one time. Heh.

*flashback because I don't know what else to do*

I walked into my room and fell on my bed. I was about to listen or music when I heard my name being called.

I walked back down the stairs and saw no one. I turned back around and saw Ella with a mask on. I kicked her foot and screamed.

"AAAHOHMYGAWDWHATTHEFUCK"

*end of random flashback*

"Helloooo?" I saw a hand waving in front of my face.

"Oh sorry I kinda zoned out" I said. I felt my face get hot. He smiled his cute ass smile.

"It's fine. And we're here" he said. I looked around and we were at the park.

"The park?" I asked. "Ya know, you could've just said the park"

he grabbed my hand and started to walk somewhere.

I began to zone out again then snapped back into reality when he stopped walking. I looked around and gasped. There was a beautiful lake.

"How did you know this was here?" I asked.

"I always come here when I need to clear my head and think" he said. I nodded. There was a silence after that.
