Even though Johnny wasn't the biggest fan of fighting, even if it meant getting to fight the Soc's, you admit, he could fight prettyyy good. Maybe he's just naturally good at it, or maybe he is taking out all the anger he keeps inside. No one will ever know, really.
Like a usual rumble, Him and Pony would gang up on a soc together, beating him to death almost. Only this rumble was far more big and made it a little more tough to fight so a few other greasers including pony helped eachother take out a few soc's all at once.
From what you could see, Johnny didn't get as hurt as some other people, but you could see a soc once in a while kicking him to the ground or punching his sides, stomach or face. This hurt you physically and emotionally. He was the kid who got hurt, not the type that started it or the kind to partake in it. And that worried you.
( imma just skip the part where they win and go home cuz its really not necessary to keep on repeating 🤣 )
You watched Johnny as he examined the rest of the gangs conditions after the fight, nervously biting his nails, which was a habit he had picked up whenever he was nervous, which was all the time considering he was targeted for getting jumped more by soc's than the other gang members were and his own parents beat him.
"Hey johnny.. you okay?" You thought about that question. Of course he's not okay, he just beat up a bunch of people for almost no justifiable reason and got best up even worse in return. Of course he's not okay. "I-i thought you were— incredible out there.. i never thought you could pick a tuff fight like that." You smiled gleefully, hoping to boost his confidence and mood a little more.
"Hey doll.. im surprisingly.. okay." He slightly smiled. "And thanks.. i know you're tryna be nice and I appreciate it but.."
"But nothing Johnny Cade. I really mean it. I've never seen you fight like that it was—-"
"Real damn tuff huh kiddo?" Two bit chimed in cutting me off while handing Johnny a beer wrapped in a brown bag. Johnny didn't like to drink at all so he grinned at Two wierdly, seeing him already intoxicated even though they had just gotten inside the house a few minutes ago.
"Exactly. Real tuff johnnycake" i smiled brightly. He almost believed it, as he gave a captivating and rare smile while looking down, blushing at the comments and admiration he was getting throughout the night for the fight he put on.
