JOHNNY: You lived across a family who always seemed to be yelling. You usually only heard a grown woman and mans voice, so you had no idea they had a son. Especially a son they would beat on a daily. Until one day when you saw a dark skinned boy sitting on his porch outside from his house. You heard very light, soft sobbing. You debated on whether you should get in his business. You knew he was vulnerable and could do anything considering the circumstances of his parents. You gently walked up to him.

"Um.. a-are you okay?" You asked softly.

"Huh? Uh- y-yeah. Im alright." He didn't look up at you, and just kept fidgeting with his fingers.

"I heard the uh.. fight. I don't want to get all up in your business or anything because i know i don't know all the facts but i just figured you could use someone to talk to.. who wont like- judge you or anything.." You said blatantly.

Once he finally did look up, his eyes went slightly wide and he opened his mouth to speak. But closed it again when you gently sat on the steps next to him. "W-we can't talk here. My folks'll find ya and i don't wanna know what they would say to you.. wanna take a walk?" He asked looking at the door, still hearing his parents fighting and screaming.

"Sure!" You smiled as we both stood up heading out the gate.

As we both walked to god knows where, he opened up to you about his relationship with his parents and about how they beat him and scream at him a lot which left you scared and worried for him. It was dark now by the time you guys stopped talking.

"Well uh— w-whats your name?"

"Its Johnny.. and yours?"

"Im y/n. I live across the street from you.." you smiled.

"Oh wow really.." he said shyly.

"Yeah. And if anything ever gets bad over there please pleaseeee do not hesitate to knock on my door! Me and my parents would 1000% be more than glad to take you in and help with anything as much as we can." You gave him a worried smile.

He nodded and you guys continued walking almost all night. You changed the subject because you didn't want him to have to keep thinking and talking about his home-life since he already has to live through it almost everyday so you guys talked about almost anything and everything which, by the end of the night, you guys were closer than both of you have ever been closer to anyone. Despite just meeting him, you felt like you could trust him and he knew he could trust you too.
