You and your friends decided to go to the Nightly double with your brother and his girlfriend since he didn't want you to be home alone. You weren't gonna be a third wheel to them, so you went by your lonesome, wandering around the movies, trying not to breath in everyones smoke from their cigarettes. You hated the smell, and the taste even worse which is why you never smoked. You couldn't stand it when your brother smoked either. You always told him that would be how he dies.
As you were roaming around, you bumped into someone's back. He was wearing a leather jacket and had a pretty size-y build, at least compared to you. He turned around looking at you, biting his cigarette in between his front teeth. "And you would be?"
He was quite handsome, and that made you nervous. "I-im y/n..."
He took out his cancer stick and blew out towards you, with a thoughtful look.
You made a disgusted expression on your face as you blew the smoke away from you
"Shi- sorry.. you dont like smoke?" He asked as he threw his cigarette butt on the floor, stepping on it. "Uh.. no not much. My cousin died from smoking and alcohol. So i've never really been able to tolerate smoking or anyone who does.." you rubbed your arms, as the weather was getting chilly.
"Huh. You're an interesting person." He smirked, pulling off his jacket and putting it over you.
"Oh no you didn't have to-"
"You're obviously cold. Im not gonna let a pretty girl be cold now am i?"
"Haven't you been arrested? Like.. multiple times?"
"Eh yeahh. Doesn't have to make me a bad gentleman now, does it?" He grinned again.
You chuckled, holding on to the jacket draped over your shoulders. "Fair point."
"You want a coke? Or a 7-up? Im buyin' " He said as he pulled out some change.
"Uhmm.. sure! What do they have for food here? Im starving.." you looked out into the snack bar they had seeing they had hotdogs, popcorn, candy bars, etc.
"I can get ya some food. Lets go"
After this "date," dally always found a way to get to you and to hang out which led to a closer relationship as of course friends, but also more than friends. All because of the nightly double where you first bumped into him.
