TWO BIT:
two bits pov As me and the gang hung around Darry's house, I noticed a real cute girl walking around the neighborhood. She was wearing a white and pink dress and kept her head down the whole time i saw her walking. Not.. that i was specifically watching her or anything..
"She looks lonely.." i said describing her to dally.
As i saw she walked passed the house from across the street, i jogged up to her starting some conversation.
"Oh uhm. Hi!" She laughed, continuing to walk.
"Hey! Couldn't help but notice you. You seem to pretty to be on this side of the hood." I nonchalantly said to seem cool. But man, her giggle. Her laugh. her SMILE...wow.
"Uhh well thank you! But I'm a greaser as well. Just like you." She chuckled sarcastically, bumping my arm.
"Pfft. You dig okay. Whats your name?"
"Im y/n. And you, mr mickey mouse shirt?" She laughed looking at my grey shirt, causing me to laugh. She's probably the first girl to ever make me genuinely laugh, honestly.
"Im Two bit. Love your name by the way."
"Thankss.. uh two bit. That your real name? I-i mean i like it, i do. Just curious if thats your birth name.."
"No no. My real name is Keith, but everyone calls me Two bit cuz i make too many jokes and laugh too much. 'Supposedly' "
She laughed once again.
"Oohh well i like both of your names as well!" She grinned.
"Yeah thanks. Hey you wanna go get food sometime? Maybe some drinks?" I smiled, playing it off cooly, but honestly i was scared. This girl seemed different and i literally just met her. I must be crazy-
"Sounds great! Its a date" she smirked
"Okay Ms. Rhymie i'll pick ya up at 5 tonight." I said stepping down from the sidewalk into the road.
"I'm lookin' forward to it!"
As we both parted ways, i wondered how a greaser girl like her could be so pretty. So nice and funny. So naturally COOL. And how i could already like a girl i just met. She surely wasn't any blonde broad i usually hang around with. She was 100% completely different, and it makes me want to see her wayy more.
