Wattpad boys, giving meaning to the phrase 'I will go to the ends of the earth with you' since 20XX...

This is something that frustrates me to no end...it's not just the boys, but it usually is.

It's about 2 in the morning and the main girl can't sleep. She realizes it's late, but what does she do? Call prince Charming and HE ANSWERS!!

First of all, how selfish is the girl, especially since it's not even an emergency. Second, why do they always answer? I'm a heavy sleeper, so even if my phone is on loud, I don't always hear it.

I literally don't even hear my alarm sometimes and it's BEST DAY OF MY LIFE at TOP VOLUME!!!! (I put the song in the media slot)

Or he comes over at who knows what time, drives out of his way to pick up the girl foe school (it's cute, but bro, petrol is expensive), does things he normally hates, drives them to other towns, buys them dinner a lot ( again, expensive) and more things I can't think of now.

Also, how he drops everything to go and be there for the girl.

No offense to my future boyfriend, but if I'm busy studying, watching rugby (you should feel honoured if I even answer my phone then), at the stables or doing something else I really like...I won't halt my life for him.

I'm my own person and I won't expect you to drop everything either. The exception is emergencies, like serious emergencies...not 'Starbucks is out of my favourite coffee' nonsense.

Yes, relationships have a give and take element, but also a realistic element.

Here's a hard pill to swallow...
If the character is strong-willed, passionate about what they do and so used to their routine, he/she won't give up everything to be there for you at a moment's notice.
If he/she is a people pleaser or a pushover, they might.
