Things that annoy me on Wattpad

Not all rich people neglect their children.

I don't think that I've read one story on Wattpad where the character is from a rich family where the adults aren't completely MIA and the worst thing is that they're usually off on lavish holidays, cheating or shopping.

I have a friend with generally wealthy parents and their life is quite the opposite of these Wattpad stories.

Her dad worked full-time, but was always around in the evenings and weekends. Her mom quit working when she fell pregnant and has been a stay-at-home mom ever since.

They have a maid, but her mom takes over when doing the laundry and every time I visit she's busy with a new home project. Her parents cook together and while they do go on great holidays sometimes, my friend always goes with.

Both her parents are very much involved in her life and they're not snobs...so why do Wattpad people have to be?

Wealth doesn't mean that the family is broken. I can promise you, some poor people also have absent parents and stuff like that.

I feel people rely to much on the stereotype, probably based on other books that they have read or they really give a different meaning to 'money can't buy happiness'.
