This is a random one, but oh my gosh...how do Wattpad girls finish PAINTINGS within one period.

Now let's make it clear...I am not an artist and I don't paint...but my mom does, so trust me, I know what I'm talking about.

In painting, you start with the base coat (after you usually sketch your idea onto the canvas) WHICH HAS TO DRY BEFORE YOU CAN PAINT ON TOP OF IT!!

There's a reason people say 'it's like watching paint dry', because it takes time.

Let's say your base coat is dry...then you start adding more layers, but remember...you can't paint over a wet layer, so what do you do? You let it dry.

Depending on the size of the painting, the amount of detail and even the type of paint you use, the time you spent is lengthened and chances are about 99% that you won't finish that painting in one period.

Also, you'll have to mix paint to get certain colours and that in itself takes time if you haven't mixed that colour before.

Add a little yellow and a dash of blue, oh crap! Too much yellow, we need more blue. The period will finish before you do.
