The sun woke me up. Ugh I hate Mondays. They're so dull and ugh.

*Beep beep beep beep beep*

Phone call:

"Mackenzie!!!! I know your not up yet and you've got college to get too"

"Ughhh mum I know. Im about to get up don't worry I won't be late!"

"You better not be you got given a scholarship! If you get expelled we can't afford for you to go somewhere else"

"I know mum trust me im about to brush my teeth. In fact I need to go eat breakfast so byeee"

"Okay then! Bye"

I lied. Im still in bed soaking up the sun that shone through my window.
But I guess it is time to get up.

Ugh.

I decided to scroll through Instagram.

I really did miss him. He's been in Hollywood for a week now but how can I be expected to not miss my boyfriend?

I put on a green hoodie with some black leggings and packed my bag for college.

Text:

Emi: Just pulled up outside. Hurry we're going to be late!
 

Me: Ugh yes im on my way out

I didn't live in the most perfect area so when I heard the police sirens I wasn't really worried. It was quite normal.
I also wasn't worried because my dad is chief. Meaning he's told me all the scary stories I need to know!

EMILY'S POV

Oh god what's taking her so long!
I opened the car door and walked inside the building.

I felt an arm grab me.

I turned around to see a man about 6 foot with brown hair holding onto my arm.

"Do you live here?" He said

"Oh um no but my friend does I was just about to get her" i responded

What happened next made me freeze.

He pulled out a gun from his back pocket.

(A/N - i know im making John seem bad pls forgive me!!)

"Please don't hurt me!" I pleaded

"I won't okay just do what I say. Got it!"

"o-okay"

"Good. Now take me to your friends apartment now"

I hastley went upstairs, him still following.

I knocked on Kenzie's door, begging she doesn't open up

Suddenly he let go of my arm, put his gun away and whispered into my ear
"If you tell her anything about me and my gun I will come for you"

And then he just laughed.
He laughed to himself.
Nothing was even funny!

"Im a bit of a psycho by the way" he said with a smirk.

Kenzie opened the door.

"Heyy Emi- oh um who's this?" She said

"He's uh- my cousin"
I hate lying to her

"Oh is he coming to school too?" She asked

"Oh n-" I was cut off

"Yes I am joining your school!" He said

great. Just great.
