IX. Starbucks

KENZIE'S POV

What Johnny said got me thinking.  Did I really trust Ashton? He was in Hollywood for a while, what if something happened?
Dang it! Johnny is getting into my head. Ashton is my boyfriend! He wouldn't hurt me
But maybe I should check to be sure
Ugh I don't know

That's when I decided. Yes. I'm going

I got up from the chair and put my shoes on

"Where you going?" Johnny said with his head tilted

"Ooh just um-" I stuttered

"To spy on your boyfriend?" He cut off my sentence

"Pffft no!"

He stared at me raising an eyebrow
I lifted my hands in defeat

"FINE! yes okay" I planted my hand of my face

"Hahahah knew it. Do you want me to come?"

"No! I-i don't I'm doing this by myself" and I left without saying another word

As I walked to Starbucks my palms got sweatier and clammy

I arrived at starbucks and I froze
A smile came to my lips as I watched him sat at a table, on his own.
I moved my hand to the door handle to walk in when my draw dropped
He wasn't alone. This girl walked out of the bathroom and sat next to him
My heart stopped.
Maybe they're friends?
Then broke.
He kissed her.
I slid down to floor.
I couldn't feel anything, I was completely numb
Johnny was right.
Tears began flooding down my cheeks
Everyone around me started stared
I didn't even care
All of a sudden, I felt a pair of arms pick me up bridal style
My eyes were too watery to tell who it was
But I could tell from his touch
"J-johnn-" I stuttered, begining to break down

"It's okay. Don't worry" he said softly

"I-i can't feel a-anything" I mumbled

"I know but I'm here"

He carried me back home and when we got there, he put me down on my bed and covered me with a blanket

"Do you want me to run you a bath?" He asked

I just looked up at him, slowly nodded and smiled
He then walked off to the bathroom

There was a knock at the front door
"I'll go see it!" Johnny called

Suddenly I heard a girl voice quietly yelling and Johnny responding in a harsh voice
Who was it?
Just then Emily burst through the door and stood, looking at me
I sat up a little bit and looked back at her
She ran over to me and whispered
"What did he do"

"H-he c-cheated"

"What?! But he's not even your boyf-" she said looking at Johnny.

"WHAT NO I MEANT A-ashton" I mumbled the last part

"Oh! Oh oh no! I'm so sorry girlie!" She hugged and Johnny rolled his eyes behind her

"I was just about to run her a bath" Johnny said

"What! No that means you'll see her naked. I'll do it!" Emily said
(A.N) remember Emily knows Johnny is a criminal but Kenzie still doesn't

"Hey Emi it's o-okay. Really. Johnny can help me. Why don't you go home, get some stuff and we can have a sleepover here?" I suggested

Emily gave Johnny a stern look the said Okay as she made her way out of the apartment

"S-she really doesn't like you huh" I said

"Yeah. I guess not" Johnny replied
"Come on" he added as he picked me up bridal style again
He walked into the bathroom and sat me on a chair

"Do you-um need help with uh-" he gestured to my clothes

"Oh um I think I'm okay, thank you" i replied
He smiled and left the bathroom, closing the door
I then got into the bath and tried to relax. I broke down again. I began to cry my eyes out as I hugged my knees. Heart break is the worst I thought to myself.
After a while I decided to get out and see Johnny, after all he'd helped me a lot today
(A.N) just so you know Kenzie is in college, like she said at the beginning which is why she hasnt been in school, she doesn't need to go in everyday :)

I got up and stepped one foot out of the bath, but my other foot slipped and i fell, hitting my head on the floor
Ow
Just then Johnny came knocking on the door
"ARE YOU OKAY?!" He screamed

"Uh yeah I just fell, on my face" I mumbled the last part

I tried to get up but the bathroom door opened
"JOHNNY! GET OUT IM NAKED"

"GEEZ KENZ YOUR HURT!" he shouted back

I grabbed a towel and tried to cover myself
He rolled his eyes and chuckled
Johnny then picked me up and sat me next to the sink
"God Kenzie, your head!" He said as he rubbed his finger against my now cut forehead

"I-its nothing, don't worry"

"Your joking right?! Let me help you"

He then walked to the cabinet and got the first aid kit out
He began cleaning my cut and dabbing it with bandages
Johnny looked down and stared into my eyes
Damn his emerald green eyes get to me
He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and smiled
That's it.
I reached up and pulled his face down to mine, kissing him hard
He soon returned the kiss and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him
"Kenz, y-your h-head" he said between kisses

"I don't care" I mumbled

He moved his lips down to my neck. Oh god he's good at that

"Thanks" he said with a smirk against my skin

"WAIT I SAID THAT OUT LOUD" I screamed

He chuckled to himself and then carried on, going to my sweet spot
I let out a slight moan
How did he have this effect on me?!
I pulled at the bottom of his shirt, wanting him to take it off
And so he did
He pulled it over his head then smashed his lips back on mine
*DING DONG*

"That's Emily" I said between kisses

"She can wait" Johnny responded

*DING DONG*

I pulled away with a sorry expression
Johnny groaned in annoyance, rolled his eyes then helped me down
I let out a slight laugh and handed Johnny his shirt

"I'll get the door while you get dressed" Johnny suggested

I nodded and he left to get the door
I opened my wardrobe and picked out my outfit
