XX. The party

KENZIE'S POV

After ice cream Johnny and I came back home and got ready for the party
I felt bad about how Johnny felt and I wished that id made it clear earlier that Sage want a threat to our relationship
I wanted to show Johnny just how much I care about him so I thought I'd wear a navy blue dress since it was his favourite color.
I wanted to do something nice with my hair because it looked like a big mess haha
Curling it seemed like a good idea so I went into the bathroom and got my curling wand out
After about half an hour my hair was done. I didn't bother with makeup so I went out and met Johnny in the living room

"Hey!" I said

"Hey baby-"
"Woahhh how can you look so good" he replied, looking me up and down

"Thank you I try" I giggled, doing a spin to show him my outfit

"And damn that dress. You sure know how to make a guy sweat" he laughed

"Are you ready to go?" I asked him

"Yeah let's go"

"Oh I texted Emi and she dropped her car off" I added

"That's great at least we don't have to walk" he responded with a smile

We got into the car and drove to the address that Sage had texted me
When we arrived we saw massive house with lots of light and loud music playing

"At least we know we're in the right place" Johnny joked

I laughed and we both got out
Johnny met me on the other side of the car and took my hand as we walked to the door of the house
At the door was a couple of guys drunk and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable
"Broooo look at that bird she's fire" one said to the other

"Pssst bro her dad's the chief I swear" the other responded

I tensed up as we walked past them
Johnny could feel me tense so he put his arm around my waist to try to calm me down
And it did. It helped a lot. He always made me feel safe
When we got into the house Sage was with his friends by the bar but he saw us and ran straight over
"Ahhh there's the hot couple I was looking for! Come on the guys are about to play a game" he said

"A game? What game?" Kenzie asked

"Just truth or dare but we need more players so pleaseeee" he begged

Johnny and I both laughed and then agreed. We followed Sage into the back room where there were three other people-2 girls and one guy

"Hi I'm Carson! This is Lina and Kendall" the guy said

"Hey I'm Kenzie, this is Johnny"

"Wassup bro" Carson said to Johnny and he nodded his head 

"Are we ready to play or what!" Kendall asked all hyped up

"Alright who's going first?" I asked

"I'll go?" Sage suggested

"Okay. Truth or dare Sage?" Carson asked him

"Hmmm. Truth" he shrugged

"Ummm if you could date any person in the world who would it be?" He asked Sage

"Oh easy peasey. Cole Sprouse!" He huffed

I gave a quick "I told you so" look to Johnny and he rolled his eyes and smiled

"I'll ask you next Carson. Truth or dare" Sage asked

"I'm a dare devil. Hit me" he replied

"I dare you to lick Kendall's stomach" he laughed
