XXIV. The call

KENZIE'S POV

It's been about a week since our sleepover and not much has changed. Well apart from Annie has joined my group officially so she's always with me, Emily, Lauren, Hayden and Johnny at lunch and stuff. Things between Johnny and I have been fine. We've had few...you know, cheeky moments hah and we've been on a date or two. Really what I'm trying to say is nothing major has happened basically. Oh! With our project in music, Johnny and I performed our song a couple days ago and we got top score in the class which was good. Even though Nadia came to the sleepover, she hasn't really talked to us since, or became friends with us. I guess she was just feeling a bit down last week and needed someone to comfort her. I just hope shes not rude to us after what we did for her you know. I put our differences beside to help her out, I just wish she'd do the same.

Johnny and I planned to just have a chill day today and enjoy each others company. I was excited I haven't spent much time with him recently since I've gotten closer to Annie and Lauren.
I woke up wrapped in Johnny's arms as usual
I looked up and just stared at him while he slept
I'm not creepy I just thought he was perfect!! Even though his eyes were closed, i could imagine his amazing emerald green eyes and I loved them
I loved the way his hair rested on his forehead so peacefully. Ugh god I love his hair. It was so cute and the way it felt when my hands ran through it. Ugh!! I just loved everything about this man

Yeah. I did. I was completely and utterly in love with this man. I was head over heels!
As I continued to watch him all these thoughts went through my mind. How was I going to tell him? How would he take it? Would he say it back? Were we ready as a couple to take this next step? Ugh I don't know maybe I don't have to tell him yet. Just leave it with my thoughts until the time was right. Yep. That's what I'm going to do. Just wait and wait and wait. Yep. Good job Kenzie. That's what I need to do until the right moment
He began to wake up
Look away Kenz! I thought turning my head away

"Hey" he said sleepily

"Hi" I simply said smiling at him
"Ready for a day of relaxation?" I added, giggling

"Yeah. Anything for you" he mumbled pulling me into a close hug

Oh my lord I love him
How could you not!

Johnny and I got up out of bed, put some clothes on and got ready. Johnny went into the kitchen and said he'd make some coffee while I finished up. I walked into the bathroom and got into the shower. When I got out I wrapped myself into a towel and put some make up on. Well like usual I don't wear a lot just mascara and foundation so it didn't take long. Afterwards I put my hair up into a messy bun and met Johnny in the kitchen
"Coffee m'lady" Johnny said bowing at me

"Aw thank you!" I replied sipping and smiling at him

HES PERFECT
I'll say it over and over again. He's amazing. He's always there for me! He's the type of boyfriend that's tough but sensitive. He acts like my best friend but obviously were a couple haha

"Ooo why don't we play monopoly?" I asked

"Uhh sure but I don't know how to play" he shrugged

"It's alright! I'll teach you" I said smiling

I got the game out and set it up while Johnny watched. I then explained to him how to play, step by step.

"Okay see then when you have all 3 cards you can put a house on the space on the board and when others land on it they have to pay you" I tried to explain

"Ahhh okay I get it" he nodded

We played for a while and Johnny actually ended up doing well and buying some houses. I landed on one of his and it said I owed 50 monopoly bucks.

"Okay now I pay you" I told him smiling

"Hm. Does it need to be payment in money?" He asked smirking and sliding closer to me

"Well what other payments are there?" I said back to him looking into his eyes

He licked his lips and moved in further. Johnny placed his onto mine carefully and softly
His hands wandered all over my body, from my waist, to my hair, to my thigh.

"This is a good payment method" I tried to say between kisses

"I-i agree"

He sat up onto his knees and wrapped his arms around my waist. He lifted me up and my legs found their way around his torso while he gripped under my thighs
He moved down to my neck and kissed me along till he reached my shoulder. He then moved my strap down and away so that he could carry on kissing me till he reached my chest.
Wow he was good
My hands wandered through his hair and i pulled myself closer, if that was humanly possible

We probably would have gone all the way again. But then my phone rang
We both groaned in annoyance
"Sorry" I pouted while picking the phone up

ON THE PHONE CALL:

"Hello?" I asked

"Hey sweetie!" This man said

"DAD?!" I screamed

"Yep! And that's not all! Guess what" he excitedly said

"Oh my god what?!" I eagerly asked

"I'm coming home!"

"WHAT NO WAY. WHEN?!" I squealed

"Tonight! I'll be at yours by tomorrow!"

"Ugh this is the best thing dad!!! And I have some news too but I'll tell you when you get here" I said turning to Johnny, smiling and him smiling back while grabbing my waist

"Well then I can't wait! Anyway that's all I wanted to say but I'll see you tomorrow sweetie. I love you" he said

"I love you too dad!"

"Goodbye"

"Bye!"

I hung up the phone and put it down
"That was my dad! He's coming home tomorrow! Can you believe that!" I shouted

Johnny got up and chuckled
"Yeah it's uh...it's unbelievable!" He laughed

"And he's going to love you!" I said running up to Johnny and hugging him

"Yeah. He might" Johnny joked

"Might? No he will definitely like you!" I reassured him

"Maybe your right! Let's hope so" he replied, kissing my forehead and smiling
