XV. Together at last

KENZIE'S POV

After Johnny left me on the floor and walked into the kitchen we decided to watch a movie
After long thoughts and a couple disagreements we chose to watch Lord of the Rings. It was one of my favourite films and Johnny said he'd only seen it about once. I told him to set it up while I went and got some popcorn for a snack. Hmm salty or sweet? I'll go for salty for more flavour
It was weird think so much had happened today. After the events with Johnny earlier it made me forget all about Ashton's appearance this morning. I felt happy. Content.
We began watching the movie and I cuddled up to Johnny who put a blanket over us
"Are you comfy babe?" He asked me
I got butterflies. He called me babe heheh
"Yeah I'm good" I said smiling up at him
After a while the movie ended and I was pretty tired. Well in fact I was asleep on Johnny
Next thing I knew, Johnny had carried me to my bedroom and layed me on my bed. I opened my eyes slightly just as he was walking out
"Wait!" I called
He sharply turned around and looked at me
"Hey what's wrong sleepy head"

"Can you stay with me?" I mumbled

"Oh in your b-bed?" He asked me
I nodded my head slightly and smiled
He walked back over to me, took his top off and got climbed in next to me
I immediately snuggled up to him and he wrapped his arms around me
I felt so safe in his arms
"Goodnight Kenz"
"Night johnny"

I woke up completely covered in Johnny's arms and I was facing his chest. I looked up and he was still asleep. He looked so cute when he was asleep. I wanted to stay like this for a while but I looked at the clock on the bedside table and if we didn't get ready soon we'd be late to school.
Just as I was about to wake Johnny up he began moving 
"mmm. Hey babe" he mumbled

"Hey Johnny. I hate to ruin the morning but we have school soon" I said, pouting

"Can't we just skip. I like waking up with you" he asked

"We have our music project Johnny" I said frowning

"5 more minutes Kenz" he asked
He was too cute to say no to

"Alright but just 5 minutes"

As soon as I said that Johnny smirked and rolled on top of me
"What are you doing" I laughed

"Making the most of my 5 minutes" he smirked

And just like that he kissed me. He lowered his soft lips down to mine and carefully placed one kiss on my lips. He leaned back a little and smiled at me before smashing his lips onto mine
His hand travelled to my waist and lower while my hands found their way around his neck, pulling him closer to me
I wanted him closer, I felt safer and happier with him closer. He was so close he couldn't get any closer

"Johnny" "we need to go" I said between kisses
He pulled away and rolled his eyes in disappointment

"ughhh fine let's get ready"

We both got up and ate some breakfast. I decided to get in the shower before I got ready. When I came out I finished getting ready and saw that Johnny was already dressed.

"Hey you ready for school?" I asked

"Nope but let's go" he said smiling while holding my hand

We walked to school because Emily couldn't drive us. But we didn't mind because it was a nice long walk with each other.
When we arrived we were just on time and made our way to first lesson. Sadly we didn't have the same lesson but straight after that we met up in the corridor and walked to lunch together
When we walked into the lunch room my hand was still in Johnny's and we made our way to our table
As we approached, Lauren's, Hayden's and Emily's eyes grew wide
"OH MY GOD are you two together!" Lauren squealed, pointing to our hands
I looked down and blushed while Johnny simply said "yeah" and looked at me
"FINALLY!" Lauren yelled.
"I've only seen you together a day and I could tell you liked each other" she added

"Who like each other?" Someone said from behind me
Nadia.

"Johnny and Kenzie!" Hayden joined in
I gave him a small look in annoyance then we both laughed

"You-you like..."
"HER" Nadia asked, shocked

"Yeah is there a problem" Johnny responded shrugging
I rolled my eyes knowing she was going to go off on a rant right now

"But WHY! It's not like she can dress, she's not popular or remotely pretty and don't get me started on her hair AND OH she can't even..."
It went on for a while
I appreciate all the hate she's sending my way I do but it's ruining my vibe right now
"Hey Nadia?" I cut off her rant and she quickly looks at me annoyed
"WHAT"

"Can you leave your really carrying this bad vibe with you and it's infecting me" I said happily with a smile to get on her nerves
She stormed off and Johnny and I just laughed with each other
Me and Johnny sat down next to each other, hands still connected under the table
Soon after the bell rang and we went to music with Lauren.
On the way Lauren pulled Johnny aside to talk and I said I'd save seats for them in music

JOHNNY'S POV

We were walking when Lauren yanked my arm and asked to talk. I told Kenzie that I'd see her in music afterwards.
"What do you want Lauren I don't want to be late to music" I asked straight away

"I told you! I knew it!" She yelled

"...knew what" I asked hesitantly

"That you liked Kenzie and that YOUD GONE SOFT"

"Are you joking me! Lauren just because I admitted I liked Kenzie a bit doesn't mean I've gone soft" I rolled my eyes

"I don't want to be late to music" she airquoted
"And you think you haven't gone soft. She's changed you" she said looking me up and down
I stared at her for a good while until I finally said
"FINE maybe she has changed me. Maybe I'm not the amazing, scary criminal I once was but I am not soft. That will never change" I responded

"You really are blind! I'm not saying I don't like you and her being together but just remember who you are and think whether you like the person your becoming because you are different Johnny" she hissed at me

I rolled my eyes and walked back to music mumbling "whatever" under my breath

When I got into the room Kenzie was sat smiling and waiting for me. I smiled back at her and sat down taking her hand in mine
Today was the day we were meant to perform our first task in music an I was excited I got to sing with Kenzie!
We watched a few other groups before it was our turn.
A while after the teacher finally said that it was our turn
Our group got up, Nadia and Annie walked over to the instruments and I could hear people whisper about why Nadia wasnt going to sing.
Kenzie and I made our way to the microphones and I took a deep breath while smiling at Kenzie
I began singing

"Let's talk about all those things that we shouldn't talk about
Those kind of words that would change all the things we talk about"

Eventually the song ended and everyone applauded us as we walked back to our seats.

"You were great" I said to Kenzie

"Thank you! So were you!" She said smiling
