KENZIE'S POV
We've been up all night long trying to think of ideas. There's crumpled up pieces of paper scattered all over the floor. To my right is a passed out Johnny and to my left is Lauren who is slumped over a table barely awake.
Across the room Hayden is layed out on the sofa, fast asleep and snoring slightly
Myself? I had a nap around 3am but it's now 5:30am so I'm not super tired but I can feel my eyes closing sometimes. To keep myself awake I think of how my life has changed so much in 2 weeks. At the beginning I was in love and just realising it, then my world broke down and now I'm utterly and completely in love with Johnny, despite what he's done.
"Found anything?" I mumbled to Lauren
"Nope...you?" She slurred back
"Nothing"
I continued looking through some books I had searched up online along with regulations and laws that we might be able to find a loophole through.
After about another hour, Johnny and Hayden woke up
"Have you been awake the whole night?!" Johnny asked me and Lauren
"Yeah we've been looking through lots of research but we haven't found anything" I said looking down
"Kenz baby you should of gone to sleep and woke me up to carry on looking" Johnny told me, rubbing my arms and smiling
"No no I'm fine I swear I'm just annoyed we haven't got any leads" I said sadly
"Why don't we call Annie and Emily?" Lauren suggested
We all looked at each other. We had forgotten about them so it might be a good idea. Plus they aren't as tired as us and may be able to spot something we'd missed
"A-are you sure they won't hate me?" Johnny asked shyly
Oh I forgot!! They don't know I'm here with Johnny! Ahhhh!!!!!! I'm going to have to text them
"I'm sure it will be fine let me just text them" I said with a reassuring smile
I took my phone out and scrolled through my messages
