An obnoxious vibrating from under my pillow woke me abruptly from my sleep. I patted my hand beneath it until I felt my phone hit my hand. My eyes were still adjusting, and the bright screen made me squint my eyes in annoyance. That was until I realized who was calling. A smile pulled at my lips as I answered the phone with a sleepy hello. Jason chuckled on the other end of the line.

"Did I wake you?" He asked. The sound of his raspy voice sent a spark of joy throughout me.

"Yeah, but I'm okay with that."

"I'm at your front door if you still want my cuddles and kisses." He goofed, causing me to laugh.

"I'm coming. Just give me a second!"

And with that, I hung up the phone and trotted over to the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and comb my wild bed hair just a little bit. I wore an oversized pink sweatshirt and some grey pajama shorts with pink and purple polka-dotted socks. He'd just have to be okay with seeing me like this because I wasn't going to change.

I opened the door to a very tired yet happy-looking Jason. His presence brought an immediate grin to my face. His long, strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me snug into him as he pressed one of those amazing kisses to my lips. Warmth and electricity surged through my veins once more. Jason pulled back and brushed a few stray hairs out of my face as I giggled softly.

"You could at least come in first." I teased, pulling him into the apartment and shutting the door behind us.

Jason shrugged his shoulders and ran a hand through his damp hair. "You're right. I just couldn't help myself, beautiful."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked into those gorgeous blue orbs of his before kissing him once more. His hands traveled down to my hips, squeezing them and sending a wave of arousal throughout my body. It caught me completely off guard. An uncontrollable gasp left my lips as I felt the sensation shoot from where his hands squeezed my hips throughout my entire body. I could feel Jason smile into the kiss, knowing what he'd just done to me before pulling back and looking me in the eyes.

Staring back up at him, I couldn't help but admire the man standing in front of me. His hair was damp, and he smelled like he had literally just hopped out of the shower. Irish spring lingered from his skin mixed with his regular cologne, which never failed to intoxicate me.

"Do you want coffee or anything?" I offered, tilting my head to the side, my arms still wrapped around his neck. "I make a pretty good espresso."

Jason's brows rose in surprise. "Oh, so you're a barista all of a sudden too?" He asked playfully, causing me to laugh. "Maybe later. I just want to relax but thank you for offering beautiful."

"Okay, we can just go hang out in my room, it's so cold in here, and I'd rather be in bed," I admitted, pulling him off into my room.

I watched as he glanced around, taking in all of the decor. He walked over to the new photo wall Cassie had surprised me with. It was pictures of us together, a couple of other friends I had reconnected with, and my family.

"This is so cool." He admired, turning to face me. "I love your whole space."

"To be honest, Cassie did most of it for me since she moved into the place while I was with my parents that week."

Jason nodded his head before coming over to the bed where I was now sitting. He sat pretty far from me, so I motioned him to come closer. He slid closer and wrapped an arm around me so that I could rest against his chest.
