Midoriya sat on the couch, (Y/n) in his arms, waving her 'Shoto' action figure in the air while Midoriya held an 'Endeavor' action figure, a gift from Shoto's father, the grandfather desperately wanting his granddaughter to like him. Said male was sitting in an armchair, flames extinguished, watching the little toddler giggle with a gummy smile. His chest squeezing as he watches the little girl wrap her other hand around the action figure, smiling as she waves it in the air with the action figure of her father, making them walk across the couch babbling to herself.

Inko stood in the doorway, still star struck that she had Endeavor in her home. It was more intimidating than having All Might in her home! Beside her, a scowl on his face, arms folded across his chest was Shoto. He didn't want his father near his daughter. He didn't even want his father here. He wanted to strangle his boyfriend for happily allowing the hero inside the home. Midoriya trying to persuade him that he was her grandfather and that it would be cruel to exclude him from her life.

If he hurt her, then sure, they could tell Enji to screw off.

Shoto's irritation grew as he watches (Y/n) bash the 'Endeavor' figure against the 'Shoto' figure. Squealing happily as she bashes them together, Shoto pinching the bridge of his nose. Why was his daughter re-enacting his childhood through action figures? The older Todoroki shakes his head, releasing a small chuckle. Seeing it as innocent toddler games, knowing that it didn't mean anything, bursting into laughter as she slams the 'Shoto' figure against the 'Endeavor' figure giggling. Izuku smiling softly as he notices Shoto's smirk.

"I've got to admit, she is a pretty little girl," Enji hums, smiling as his granddaughter looks up at him, sending him a gummy smile, "Hey baby girl,"

"You're not allowed to call her that," Shoto hisses, glaring at his father, his shoulders tensing as (Y/n) makes grabby hands toward Enji, the older man waiting for the all clear, not wanting to annoy his son further, knowing that Shoto still didn't trust him despite his actions to make up with his youngest son, "You hurt her, you will never see her again,"

The older Todoroki nods, gently picking up the small girl in his large hands, the girl giggling softly, fingers trying to touch his flaming beard. Enji shakes his head, turning his facial flames off, chuckling softly at the small pout resonating on his granddaughters lips, holding her to his chest as he sits back in the arm chair. Absolutely infatuated with the little girl, feeling that same warmth in his chest when his children were born, despite his violent ambitions. This was his granddaughter and he couldn't tarnish this relationship, not when he's so close to building his one back with Shoto.

However, Shoto instantly pulls the girl out of his fathers grasp as she whimpers softly, glaring at the older, larger male as she begins to cry. Blaming his father in an instant. Shoto looking over (Y/n) with worry, checking for any bruises or scratches but looks confused as he finds nothing.

"Shoto, I don't think your father hurt her," Inko speaks up, walking over to her granddaughter, sitting Shoto on the couch as she kneels in front of them, gently opening the toddlers mouth, checking her gums before nodding, "She's beginning to teeth, Izuku the teething toys are in the little box in the nursery, could you get one?"

"Allow me, Mrs Midoriya," Enji obliges, putting his hand up to stop Izuku before heading to the nursery for his granddaughter, Shoto watching him leave with a sigh, gently bouncing his daughter on his knee, trying to keep her mind off the pain.

Izuku kisses Shoto's cheek softly, thanking Enji for the teething ring before handing it to Inko who lets (Y/n) begin getting her gums on it. Her small whimpers dying down, wanting to be in her grandfathers arms again which, reluctantly, Shoto allows, watching as she snuggles into his fathers large chest, gnawing on the teething ring while staring up at him with her round (e/c) eyes.
