When It's Time For Bed

Izuku didn't expect to come downstairs to find Shoto watching 'Dora the Explorer' in absolute awe with their little girl snuggled into his lap while Enji sat there watching it too, just as engrossed as the other two. Shoto and (Y/n) speaking Spanish, learning different colours, their eyes sparkling with every passing moment. Enji watching rather interested, smiling at his sons sheer wonderment about the programme meant for children, feeling bad about not doing this with his own children.

Though he was lucky enough to have a granddaughter to share all these experiences with and show his children that he was still a good man.

The greenette giggles softly as he watches his boyfriend and daughter cheer as Dora finds what she's after, smiling to himself. Shoto holding his daughter close with one of the biggest smiles Izuku has ever seen him do, his heart melting at the sight. Unfortunately, Izuku had to cut the moment short and clear his throat to gain his daughters attention.

"Sweetie, it's bed time," he says gently, smiling as she pouts toward him with a whine, the girl shaking her head groaning, "Come on,"

"I don't wanna, mama," (Y/n) grumbles, crossing her arms over her chest and pouting making Shoto chuckle as he watches her, the dual haired male shaking his head with a smile, "Wanna stay up,"

"Well, if you ask Papa Enji nicely, maybe he can take you to bed," Izuku hums with a smile, his heart bursting for joy as he watches his daughters eyes light up like a Christmas tree and look toward her grandfather.

"Please, Papa! Pretty please with cherries on top!" (Y/n) asks, sending Enji those big round puppy eyes to try and chip at his rough exterior, the girl knowing how to wrap her grandfather around her finger, knowing that he'll do anything to make her happy, "Please?"

"Can't say no to you, can I, little one?" He asks with a chuckle, pulling the excited girl into his arms and kisses her cheek, carrying the girl toward her room with a smile, Shoto tagging along behind with a small smile.

(Y/n) happily snuggles into her grandfathers grasp, playing with his hair, giggling as Enji sets her down onto her bed and helps her into her pyjamas. The girl eagerly wriggling into them and beaming toward her grandfather, Shoto standing in the doorway watching. Enji kisses her forehead gently, gently tucking her into bed with a chuckle, ruffling her hair as she snuggles making her giggle, looking up at her grandfather with sparkling eyes. Wanting him to read a story to her.

However, as soon as she gets comfortable she immediately sits upright in bed and yanks her covers off in a small panic. Her eyes widening as she couldn't find the one thing that she can't sleep without, a small whine leaving her lips as she frantically looks around.

"Hey, what's up?" Shoto asks walking over, holding her hands to try and calm her down from the little frenzy she's getting herself into, "Snowflake, what's wrong?"

"I can't find my doll..." (Y/n) whines, panicked, looking up at Shoto close to tears, "Daddy I can't sleep without it!"

"Hey, we'll find it, don't worry, no tears," he says kissing her forehead, rubbing her hands softly as she whimpers, "Izu! (Y/n) can't find her Endeavor doll!"

"Well where did she put it?" Izuku calls up, walking up with a glass of warm milk and cookies, setting them on the nightstand, looking around her bedroom with a small hum.
