Birthday Boy : Izuku Midoriya

Shoto and (Y/n) were radiating nothing but positivity as they rush around the house to get everything ready for Izuku before he came home from working for the day. The pair of them wearing the biggest smiles on their lips as they begin to decorate the house before Izuku gets back home. Trying to make sure the house will be amazing as possible for the birthday boy today.

Today was the day, July 15! The day that friends and family of Izuku Midoriya could celebrate his birthday.

Excitement aerated around the house as Shoto blows up All Might themed balloons while (Y/n) sets the presents up on the coffee table. Bright smiles play on their lips as they continue with their little tasks, music playing around the to represent their positive attitudes. They couldn't wait for Izuku to come home, to show him what they had gotten up to while he was gone. They couldn't wait to see a bright smile on his face from their hard work.

The two of them had worked very hard, all day, to get the house to be as amazing as it is currently. They had streamers hanging from the ceiling and a big banner hanging up screaming the words 'Happy Birthday Izuku!' in blue, red, white and golden lettering (the colours of All Might, of course). The coffee table had a table cloth draped over it with glitter and confetti sprinkled all over it. Balloons were hanging up, in the corner of the room and by the couches.

They had also made a rather stunning three tiered cake with the help of Inko and Fuyumi. The first layer having All Might colours, the second layer begin the colours of Deku's costume and the third layer (the top layer) had little sugar paste people on top, resembling Izuku, Shoto and (Y/n).

They really went all out for him.

They had a right to, after all. Izuku had been working so hard, recently. He had been working overtime and even working through the night and only having an hour or two to sleep because of the amount of work that he had. If it wasn't a drug bust, it was a Yakuza mission. If it wasn't a bank robbery or a hostage situation it was a collapsing building or a fire. The world didn't stop for the hero to relax. Izuku needed a pick - me - up due to how stressed he had gotten.

Shoto and (Y/n) just hoped that this would cheer Izuku up.

After finishing the final touches, Shoto high fives his little girl before ushering her upstairs to get her changed. The little girl squeals with giggles as she races to her room and shimmies out of her day clothes and into her comfy clothes. Instead of doing something fancy, they decided to have a chill evening. Just cuddle on the couch and eat junk food and watch whatever they want.

Now, anticipating Izuku's arrival, Shoto and (Y/n) wait in the living room. The two of them giggling between each other and vibrating with excitement as they make sure that everything is in place, making sure that it's perfect for their greenette family member.

As Izuku's car pulls into the driveway, Shoto turns off all the lights and hides behind the couch while (Y/n) hides behind the armchair with a big smile on her lips. The two of them sending each other a thumbs up as Izuku jingles the keys in the front door to walk in.

"Hey! I'm home!" Izuku calls out as he opens up the door and walks into his home with a small smile, the male setting his bag down while clearing his throat with a small frown at the lights being off, "Sho?... (Y/n)?... anyone home?..."
