My love: a Lily Evans and James Potter fanfic

Lily's POV 

When I wake up I look towards my alarm clock. It's 6:45, so I have a while to take a shower and eat before classes start. After my shower, I put on my uniform and leave my room. Judging by the snoring coming from James's room, he was still asleep. 

For a minute or so, I considered waking him up. Nah, let him be late for class. I thought smugly. 

When I enter the great hall, I see that Alice and Marlene are already there, talking quietly to themselves. They had their backs to the great hall entrance, so I snuck up behind them to hear what they were talking about. 

" .......I don't know...I think she might.." Alice muttered

" nonsense, she would never fall for that git, if she ever found out that I've been snogging  Sirius every chance I get, she would—"

"Merlin's beard! You've been snogging Sirius!" I nearly shouted as I sat down next to Marlene, making both girls jump.

 " Marley, you know he'll just break your heart. I think the only Marauder that wouldn't do it on purpose is Remus." I said, trying to reason with her.

  " I know lils but I think....." she started

"You think what marls?" I asked

"I-I think I love him" she whispered silently 

Alice and I gasped loudly, then we both let out a really girly squeal. "Eeeeeee, you love Sirius Black!!" Alice squealed, 

Marlene turned towards me " so your really not mad?" She asked me. "Of course not, as long as he makes you happy, then I know there's nothing I can do to stop you. But if he hurts you in the slightest way, I'm cursing him all the way to Mars," I threaten

" surely your not thinking about cursing me to Mars, right lily?" Came a voice from behind me

"Watch it James, or I might consider it." I teased. 

Alice and Marlene looked at me in confusion. "Since when are you and James on a first-name basis?" Alice asked me.  " it's a long story, I'll tell you later." I replied.

 I turned to see Sirius, Remus, and Peter looking at me with shock. "What" I snapped.

"It's—it's just that's the first time we have ever heard you acknowledge James by his first name. That's all"

I glanced towards James to see him smirking slightly. " what's your schedule, Lily" asked Remus. 

I hand him my schedule and he reads it out loud.

"Hey, we have the same classes!" Remus exclaimed, grinning at me

"Hey, James can I read your schedule?" Remus asked James "Yea sure" James replied as he handed Remus his schedule, which Remus read out loud
