I had lost my friendship with many by the end of my school life. They often misunderstood me but I might have made some mistakes as well. The only people I trusted the most were Cedric and Declan. Declan was more like a younger brother to me and Cedric's best friend. He had tried his best not to let anyone ruin mine and Cedric's friendship.

Cedric had asked me several times to think as if he doesn't exist. The mental trauma I was going through every time he said that was killing me inside. I wipe my tears and walk out of my class. I decide that I will never talk to him again because before all this I had asked him if we could still be friends and he had denied it.

----------------------------------------------------

I wipe my tears. This is how our friendship ended. I would spent my time crying often. That was the day I thought that I won't be able to trust anyone else. He still has a place in my life as a long lost friend I lost due to my stupidity. Maybe I shouldn't have shared how I feel about him to others. There were rumors everywhere that I like him but instead of believing me, he believed those rumors.

I stand up and check the time. I have sat here for nearly an hour. I climb the stairs and open my room's door. Stefan will be back home soon, so I change and I decide that I'll call Declan while making myself a cup of coffee.

I climb down the stairs and walk into the kitchen. I switch on the light and turn on the coffee maker after adding a cup of water and some grounded coffee.

I dial Declan's number and he picks it up in the first ring.

"Hey siso, what's up?" he asks.

"I'm good, how about you?" I ask.

"I'm fine" he says and sounds happy.

"I met Cedric" I finally tell him.

"What, where?" he asks.

"At FPU, my new college" I say.

"Oh, did he try talking to you?" he asks again.

"Not yet, but what should I do if he tries?" I ask him.

He doesn't reply for a while. I trust him the most in such matters. We were initially school friends but our bond has grown stronger in these 3 years. He is the only one I'm in touch with from school. He is a brother, a best friend and a savior. He often describes our bond as siblings by heart. His parents have never seen me but they know that their son has a sister.

My mom is quite fond of him and he is fond of her. He addresses her as 'Aunt Cassy' short form for Cassandra. Stefan looks up to him and says he wants to become like Declan.

"Bro, still there?" I ask.

"Yeah, just lost in thoughts" he says.

"What should I do?" I ask him again.

"I think it's better if you talk to him. Try talking normally and don't lose your temper" he says.

"And try sorting things out" he continues.

"Okay, thank you bro" I tell him.

"Don't thank me, I am always there for you siso" he says and I know he is smiling.

"Why don't you come over the day after?" I tell him half asking.

"Sure, see you then siso" he says and hangs up.
