I immediately recognize that guy. He is the same guy who sits in front of me and Adele. He comes and stands in front of me. He is quite tall.
"Hello" he says again.
"Hi" I say.
"We are in the same class right?" he asks.
"Yes" I say.
"You sit behind me right?" he asks again.
"Yes, that's right" I say smiling.
He returns my smile and I notice that he has dimples and has a beautiful smile. He has got dark brown eyes and fair complexion. His hair color is dark brown and longer in the front which he keeps sideways back.
"My name is Alvin" he says smiling.
"My name is Charlotte, nice to meet you Alvin" I say returning his smile.
We walk to the class together talking. Alvin seems to be a friendly person. We enter the class and I seat down and place my bag on Adele's place. He too sits down and then turns around.
"Isn't your friend coming?" he asks.
"Oh no, she won't be coming this entire week" I tell him.
"Oh!" he says and turns around.
The teacher enters the class and I really enjoy today's class because instead of regular lecture, the teaches makes us do some creative writing. The bell rings for lunch hour and I decide that I will go to the library instead of going to the cafeteria. I stand up and grab my phone and purse.
"Aren't you going for lunch?" Alvin asks.
"Oh no, I am going to the library" I say.
"Oh!" he says and we climb downstairs together and I take a right turn to the library while Alvin takes a left turn to the cafeteria.
As I enter the library, it is huge and anyone can get lost easily. I walk inside and look around. I guess there are more than 1000 book shelves in here and I feel as if I can spend my entire life reading these books. I walk towards the table where a beautiful lady is sitting reading a book.
"Excuse me" I say.
"Yes, how can I help you miss?" she asks looking up and smiling.
"Could you show me the fiction section" I say.
"Sure, it is the fourth row from right" she says smiling.
"Thank you" I say returning her smile and walk towards the fiction section.
I immediately notice 'The Alchemist' written by Paulo Coelho. I take it out and walk towards a small table, sit down and start reading. I get completely lost in the story and I lose track of time. I hear the warning bell ringing and check the time. I find out that the lunch hour was over 10 minutes ago. I hesitantly keep the book on the librarian's desk and run out towards the class.
By the time I reach the class, I am out of breathe. I knock at the door and wait.
The French literature teacher opens the door.
"Why are you late, miss?" she asks.
"I was in the library, I forgot to keep track of time" I say feeling embarrassed.
"No problem, come inside" she says smiling and opens the door further.
I walk inside and sit down. Luckily, the class hasn't started yet, so I take a deep breathe and take my note out.
