When the bell rings for the lunch hour, we walk to the cafeteria and as usual we buy a cup of coffee each and Adele buys a chicken roll and I buy a cheese sandwich. We come out of the cafeteria and sit down in our usual place. We eat in silence.
"I won't be coming next week" Adele says breaking the silence.
"Why?" I ask her taking a sip of my coffee.
"I will be visiting my parents" she says smiling.
"Wow, that's really nice"I say.
"Yes, I called my mom yesterday and she was so happy. Mom said that my brother was literally jumping around the house" she says.
I smile. She looks really happy. We finish our coffee and head to our class. The next class we have is reading session and it ends up to be quite boring.
When the bell finally rings, we head to the parking lot together and drive home.

A WEEK LATER
I wake up. I had a great time yesterday. Amber and Claire came for lunch and we prepared pasta, and some other Italian dish. They stayed until 6 in the evening. They had brought cup cakes and brownie along.
I receive a message from Adele as I get out of my bed.
*I have already left to visit my parents, so I will copy all the important notes when I return back. Please don't feel lonely and enjoy your day* it reads.
*Okay. Have a safe journey and a great time* I write back. I place my phone back on the side table and make my bed. I take a shower and come back to my room. I wear my all time favorite dark blue skinny jeans and black round necked full- sleeved t-shirt. I tie a low ponytail and pack my bag, grab my phone from the side table, put on my black loafers and head downstairs.
Mom is seating on the couch as I finish climbing down the stairs.
"Morning Charlotte" she says smiling.
"Morning mom" I say and place my bag on the table.
I check the time, it is half past 7.
"Would you like a cup of coffee, mom" I ask her.
"Sure" she says.
I enter the kitchen and make myself and mom two mugs of coffee and walk to the living room holding two mugs of coffee. I give one to her and sit on the couch across her.
I don't feel like going to college today because the only friend I have there is Adele and she won't be coming for the entire week. I don't know others much. I know Cedric but we don't talk anymore. There is a boy who sits in front of me and Adele but we have not talked yet. There are two girls who sit right across us but I don't know them either.
I finish my coffee, keep it on the kitchen's sink and wave mom goodbye and walk out. I get into my car and start it. I turn on the cassette player and play Charlie Puth's "See You Again".
The drive is pleasant. I reach FPU and drive into the parking lot. I park my car in the usual place, grab my bag from the back seat and come out.
"Hey there" someone calls after me as I walk towards the main building.
I turn around to see who it is. A tall guy wearing black half-sleeved t-shirt, black pants, black sneakers is walking towards me.
