I just hope that Scarlette accepted Alvin's proposal because he was so happy regarding this. I am wondering where are they when I see them entering the class together. Scarlette is blushing and Alvin is literally beaming.
Scarlette walks towards me and pulls me into a tight hug.
"Thank you Chari" she says pulling away.
"I haven't done anything, I just helped two people who like each other open up" I say smiling.
"Thank you Charlotte" Alvin says smiling.
"You're most welcome" I say returning his smile.

TWO MONTHS LATER
A lot of things have taken place in these two months. Scarlette's parents arrived two weeks ago and they have bought a house in Madera, just 15 minutes drive from our place. Her dad bought her a silver Porsche Spyder. We usually meet at her place in the morning and drive to FPU together.
Alvin and Scarlette have been dating each other for two months now and they seem quite happy together. Alvin went to receive Scarlette's parents along with me and Scarlette when they arrived. Scarlette's mom seems to be quite fond of him.
Scarlette's sister Aubrey is of the same age as my brother Stefan. They were childhood friends. Aubrey got enrolled in Stefan's school. Scarlette's dad, my dad and Amber's dad are school friends and thus the three of us are also friends.
Cedric and my friendship has developed a lot in these two months. I think the old Cedric is returning. We spend a great deal of time together these days and Adele also prefers spending time with the two of us. Me, Adele, Cedric, Alvin and Scarlette have become great friends.
The thing that I like the most about Alvin and Scarlette is that they aren't clingy. They prefer spending time with the rest of us as well. They respect each other's opinion and choice.

I am sitting down in my room doing some work when I hear the doorbell ring. I don't bother getting up because I have a lot of assignments to do. My room looks a bit empty ever since Scarlette moved out. I hear the front door opening.
After a few minutes, I hear a knock on my door.
"Chari, can I come in?" Scarlette asks from the other side.
"Sure, come in Essie" I reply.
I look up at my best friend as she enters my room. She looks as beautiful as ever and she is wearing a black dress and black high-heeled pumps.
"You look beautiful" I say.
"Come on Chari, no time to waste. I have come to pick you up" she says pulling me from the chair.
"For what?" I ask getting up.
"Dinner" she says.
"Dinner?" I ask again looking at her.
"Yes, dinner with friends" she says smiling.
"You, me, Alvin, Adele, Amber, Claire, Declan and Cedric" she says.
"Okay. You wait downstairs, I'll get ready" I say and she smiles and leaves the room.
I decide to wear a gray colored knee-length sleeveless dress and gray high-heeled pumps which Scarlette gifted me last week. I get dressed, apply minimal makeup, curl my hair, put on my shoes, grab my clutch and walk out of my room.
"You look stunning" Scarlette says as I climb down the stairs.
"Ready?" she asks.
"Yes" I reply and wave mom goodbye and walk outside.
The restaurant doesn't seem that far and as we enter the parking lot, I see that we are the last ones to arrive.
