07: Yoongi's Special
Jisoo pov
"It's been some time, hasn't it?", after all this time his voice was still the same. It still had a deep, calm tone to it."How have you been? I heard you started your first world tour." I nodded and smiled at him.
"You're also on tour."
He chuckled and took a bottle of gin. "Want a drink? I can mix one for you."
I nodded and sat down on the velvet couch.
"This will be 'Yoongi's Special'." He poured a bit of gin into two glasses and looked at me, flashing his smile at me.
I smiled back at him and while he continued to pour different kinds of liquid into the glasses, I looked around. I didn't know that there were VIP rooms in Aurora but the more I thought about it, the more sense it made.
I gazed back at Yoongi and watched him put some ice into our drinks. It indeed had been some time since we've last seen each other.
Back when I was an MC for Inkigayo and he had promoted their new album, we've seen each other almost weekly.
But because of certain circumstances, we lost touch and I've never really heard from him again personally. The only time I had heard of him was whenever the media talked about him, which happened quite often.
"Here you go, I hope it's enjoyable", Yoongi said and handed me one glass. He sat down across from me and held out his glass.
Smiling we clinked glasses and while I only took a sip of it he emptied the glass in one go.
He placed his glass on the little glass table that was standing between us and stared at me for some time.
"This is really good. You should do this more often", I jokingly said and took another sip, feeling the alcohol burn in my throat.
"How's it going with Jinyoung? I saw him earlier this night", he mumbled after a moment of silence.
I sighed and looked away, scanning the Greek statue that was standing to his right.
"I've never really confessed to him. I just hadn't the balls to."
I remembered the time when I was MCing with Park Jinyoung and I developed a small crush on him.
At least I thought it was small, Yoongi always teased me, saying that I fell head over heels for him.
"And now? It's been two years and you still didn't build up enough courage to tell him?"
I shook my head, letting silence fill the room.
It wasn't like I didn't build up enough courage to tell him, rather than that I had slowly lost hope.
And by now I didn't feel this bubbly, exciting feeling inside my stomach anymore whenever I saw him.
It felt more like nostalgia, as if the time I crushed on him had turned into a beautiful memory, too lovely to be forgotten.
"Do you- do you still like him?", Yoongi asked into the quiet.
When I looked back at him, he was staring at me intensely. I emptied my glass and placed it on the glass table.
"I think I will always like him in some way. I'll always see him in a different light."
I straightened my back and crossed my legs. "But I don't think I'm still crushing on him."
Yoongi nodded understanding and flashed his gummy smile at me once again.
"How about another drink?"
With a chuckle, I nodded and rested my arm on the armrest. Just when he was about to stand up the sound of the door opening stopped him in his track.
We turned our heads at the same time and watched Jennie, Chaeyoung, and Jimin enter the room.
"Unnie?!" Jennie looked at me, raising her eyebrows.
I watched Jimin close the door behind him and walking past the two girls.
"Damn, hyung. You made 'Yoongi's Special' without telling me? Can you make me-"
"No", Yoongi sounded slightly annoyed and sat back down with a sigh. Jimin sat down next to him and looked at him pleadingly.
"Please! And while you're at it you could also make one for the three ladies."
He turned to Chaeyoung and Jennie and waved them to come closer. Jennie stepped forward, pulling the younger girl with her. I moved a bit so they could sit down next to me.
Yoongi stood up with a sigh and took the two glasses that were still standing on the glass table.
"So five 'Yoongi's Specials'?", he asked as he walked to the little bar and Jimin nodded. "Yessir."
"By the way, where's your fourth friend?", Jimin asked as his attention landed back on us.
Jennie cleared her throat and glanced at Chaeyoung.
"Actually, we don't know. We thought she might be with Hoseok, so we searched for him", she replied and leaned back.
I looked at her with gritted teeth. What the hell? Did you lose her again?
"Ah, okay. So when you couldn't find him, you went up to me, thinking I would know where that boy is hanging around."
"Yup."
None of us said anything and the only thing that could be heard was the music coming from downstairs and Yoongi mixing our drinks.
"If you ask me, I think sooner or later they're going to enter this room if they really wanna... y'know. Hoseok isn't the time to do it in a restroom", Yoongi calmly said and just when he had finished his sentence we heard the door open once again.
We watched as Lisa and Hoseok entered the room laughing but as soon as she saw us, her smile was washed from her face.
Hoseok closed the door with his foot and Jennie had to clear her throat for him to notice our presence as well.
"Watch your hands, mister", I muttered, narrowing my eyes at Hoseok hands that were wrapped around Lisa's waist.
He immediately took back his hands, going through his hair with them nervously.
"Do you two want something to drink as well?", Yoongi asked and smirked at him. They looked at each other for a short moment and then back at Yoongi, nodding.
"Come and sit here guys", Jimin invited them, resting his head on his hand as he glanced at Chaeyoung.
Yoongi walked over with a tray of in total seven drinks on it and placed it on the glass table, while Lisa and Hoseok sat down next to Jimin.
Jimin took a glass, brought it to his lips and chugged it in one go as we all watched him with questionable looks.
Then, for the third time that night, the door opened.
"Damn, here's a party going on and you guys didn't tell us?!"
