37: Sinners and saints

I wanted to go home.

The blinding lights and loud music were great, but only when you had someone to have fun with. I didn't.

My girls were god knows where so I was left alone, trying to hide from Hoseok.

I didn't actually know if he was there since I hadn't seen him but my gut feeling just told me that he was.

Here and there I spotted a few people that I knew but I wasn't in the mood to talk to any of those.

The music was so loud, it was almost giving me a headache. I walked upstairs with heavy steps, wanting to get some fresh air to clear my head.

When I was just past the restrooms, someone's hands grabbed onto my waist and spun me around. I was about to punch that person but when I saw his face I stopped in my tracks.

"I think we need to talk."

"There is nothing to talk about, Hoseok. Get over it", I tried to get away from his grip but he was way stronger than me.

My attempt of freeing myself just lead to our bodies being pressed more and more against each other.

He took a step forward so my back hit the wall, his hands still on each side of my body. I was trapped in between the bricks and his embrace and at that moment I wished I could've just vanished through the wall.

"Oh my god, you're so- so-"
I couldn't even finish my sentence. Something inside of me stopped me.

I wanted to curse at him, yell at him, and tell him how much of an asshole he was. But I couldn't.

"I'm so what? Say it to my face, baby", his face was only inches away from mine and I felt his hot breath hit my lips.

I wanted to say something and show him how he didn't have any sort of power over me but we both knew that he did.

He could play with me like a doll and I would play along.

"I know you can't resist me." His words hit me like a train. He was so right. I really couldn't resist him. But I knew that neither could he resist me.

"True", I mumbled, my gaze locked on his juicy lips, "But you're not a saint either."

He tilted his head and raised one brow. He was looking so hot and I had to fight the urge to kiss him right then and there.

"You adore me. And now that we're over you miss me, am I right?"

"Of course you are", his husky voice made my heart skip a beat and I felt like my knees would give in any minute.

Gently his lips brushed past mine, up until my ear. His breaths sent shivers down my spine and at that moment I hated how much he was affecting my body.

"How about we continue this at my place?"

Sarcastically I laughed and pushed him away with both of my hands. At this point, I couldn't tell whether I or he was the clown.

"I'd rather not. If you wanna fuck someone you can go downstairs and look for a bride. I'm sure there are plenty of women who want you.

"But what if I tell you that I don't want a single one of them? That all I want is you?"

I didn't want to listen to his lies anymore but something about them made my knees weaken and my heart soften.

"Don't lie to me, Hoseok. Your behavior was telling me otherwise."

He sighed and stepped forward, leaning his hand right next to my head.

"Look, I know that I did not give you the attention and affection you deserve but can't you just give me another chance?", he was looking at me pleadingly, a line appearing between his eyebrows.

On the inside, I wanted to say yes. I would've given him a thousand chances if he asked me but my pride was way too big to admit that.

"I could. But I don't know if I want to."

"C'mon, Lisa. Just one chance. I promise I will be a better man for you-"

"I don't want no empty promises, I want something real, something that will last", I made a break and looked away, "And I don't think you can give me that."

"Let me prove it", his hand lifted up to my cheek, resting there as I felt his soft fingertips on my skin. "I will prove to you that I can be the one. I can be-"

Before he could even finish his sentence Jungkook ran up to us, shouting his name.

"Hyung, we need your help!"

Hoseok's hand left my face and instead, he crossed his arms in front of his chest.

The younger pulled him closer to whisper something in his ear.
His eyes widened and he shook his head. "You can't be serious."

"Do I look like I'd be joking about that?", Jungkook raised his voice and ran his hands over his face.

"I'll go and search for Tae", he started walking down the hallway but turned around one last time.

"You go back and take Lisa with you. Don't let the other three know. They're just going to freak out."

Before I could even say something, Jungkook had already taken my arm and pulled me downstairs.

I asked him where we were going but he just ignored my words. We hurried past the bar, right to the exit.

A bodyguard opened the metal door and with quick steps, we stepped out of Aurora into the dark hallway of the building.

Chaeyoung and Jimin were standing in the middle of it, another bodyguard right in front of him.

"Damn, what happened?", I asked and rushed up to my best friend.

Her hand immediately wrapped around mine, squeezing it so hard I felt like she was about to break my bones.

Jungkook and the bodyguard talked in low tones, Jimin stayed quiet.

"I was just talking to Jaehyun and Jungkook when he came. The four of us talked and then everything escalated. Jimin pushed Jaehyun, and it wasn't even that hard, but this man saw and escorted us out", she explained under her breath.

"I don't how it happened but they were talking about banning him from Aurora because of that and Jimin then said some pretty bad things and now they want to ban all seven of them."

"How does that even make sense?", I muttered, scratching the back of my neck.

"I don't know. Do I look like the fucking manager of this place?"

The metal door opened again and Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jennie stepped into the cold hallway. While Hoseok joined the conversation between Jungkook and that guard, the other two looked just as confused as I was.

Jimin was just about to open his mouth and say something when the grand door of the building opened, revealing Yoongi, Namjoon, and Jisoo.

"What the fuck is going on here?"
