Third person's POV-

"Ma'am, are you ready to order?" A waitress walked up to a table where a woman with silver hair and blue eyes was sitting. Alone...

"Oh no...I'm still waiting for someone" the woman at the table, who's name was Elizabeth, said and glanced towards the entry doors of the restaurant.
The waitress nodded at her and Elizabeth didn't miss the spark of pity in the waiters eyes.

Elizabeth was supposed to go on a date with a guy at that very restaurant, she liked him, he seemed nice, but she was beginning time have second thoughts about him as it had already been an hour since the time they agreed to meet.

Elizabeth glances around the restaurant and notices that many people were looking at her with pitied expressions.
She lot out a deep sigh before taking her purse and getting up. She was leaving, she knew he wasn't coming.

But then just as she was about to leave a guy ran up to.
"Hey babe! Sorry I'm late! Traffic was a pain" he said and pushed the shocked girl back into her seat before taking a seat on the opposite side of the table.

'Who is this guy!?' Elizabeth thought, still shocked by what had just happened.

"The names Meliodas by the way, just play along, Kay? Any guy who didn't even bother to show up is a prick. Forget him" the guy in front of her whispered and winked.

Elizabeth quickly glanced over him. He was dressed in a nice suit was an open collar, his hair was blonde and messy beyond compare...and those eyes..Elizabeth has never seen an eye color quite like that before.
He certainly was handsome, and he seemed nice too, so Elizabeth decided to play along.

"I'm Elizabeth" she introduced herself to the Meliodas who was now looking through the menu.

He looked up at her, and she could swear that his eyes was shining.
"Elizabeth...that's a beautiful name, almost as beautiful as it's owner" he said the last part with a smirk that Elizabeth couldn't help but think was quite charming.

Elizabeth blushed at the sudden compliment and stuck her nose into the menu to hide her blushing face.
She could hear him chuckle.

A few moments passed as they sat and looked in their menus.

"Are you ready to order" the same waitress from before came and asked. Elizabeth was happy to see that her eyes was no longer filled with pity

"Are we?" Meliodas asked Elizabeth, who nodded.

"Great! I'll have the..uh..Pasta Puttanesca..hope I pronounced that right" Meliodas chuckled.

"I'll have a grilled chicken salad" Elizabeth said and the waitress wrote it down.

"Would that be all?" The waitress asked.

Meliodas then leaned a bit over the table to ask Elizabeth a question.
"Do you drink red wine?"

"Yes I do" Elizabeth sayd, not sure where Meliodas was going with that.

"Then we'll have a Chianti to share" Meliodas told the waitress who wrote that down with a smirk.
Chianti was a red wine that was particular popular for Americans who eat Italian.
