summary: a young prince walks into Elizabeth's bar, but will he trust her? Will she finally be able to be happy?

THIRD PERSON POV

Every day had begun to blend into each other as it so often did in prolonged periods without him. Days without purpose. If only she knew that he would laugh at the jokes she made, maybe then she could find genuine joy in them herself, but it had already been 10 years since she last saw him.
That smile.
She missed him, but still she persevered.
She had to.
For him.
For the both of them.
For the promise that she made him 3000 years ago.

The memory of that day, the day she realized that nothing would ever be the same again made her let out a sad sigh, however she was working so she had to put on a bright smile again as she turned to a costumer.
"Here you go sir, one Aberdeen ale"

"Thank you missy" the man nodded and took a big sip of his drink. It was then that Elizabeth heard other costumers talking and pointing to the wanted posters of the seven deadly sins.
Elizabeth frowned at the picture of herself, she looked too much like her mother, at least the way that artist had presumed she'd look after these 10 years that had passed.

The seven deadly sins, Elizabeth the dragon sin of wrath.

It had been an accident...
Last time she had to watch him die her feelings exploded out of her and granted her the title of wrath.
She hated it, but at least it had brought her to people who for a time at least could help her move on.
Or maybe it was the fact that she could keep a close eye on him, make sure that he was brought up in a good home. Not at all like his first life.

"I saw it!"

Elizabeth raised her head, surprised by the sudden intrusion of a man that looked downright terrified.
Before she could sone other people helped him sit down by a table and ordered a drink for him as they asked him to explain whatever he had seen out there.

"It was the wandering dust knight! I'm sure I saw it out there!"

"The rust knight?"

"The sin of lust?"

"Oh quit it, the wandering dust knight is just a story told to scare little children"

Elizabeth nodded along to the last comment.
While the rust knight, Gowther sin of lust, was definitely real the story had been exaggerated over the years.

"If you don't do what I say one of the seven deadly sins will come for you in blood rusted armor! Ohh ahh!" The same man imitated.

"Yeah you're probably right.." the man who at first had been terrified seem to have calmed down and agreed with the men around him, that was until large steps of rustling armor was heard outside the bar.
It was also then that Elizabeths partner, Hawk of the order of scraps disposal, popped his head up beside her and sniffed the air.

"That smells a lot like rust to me..." he began to shake, not enjoying the horror stories of the seven deadly sone more than anyone else in the room.
Even Elizabeth tensed, but for an entirely different reason.

'This feeling...'

The door was slammed open and in walked a wobbly knight...in rusted armor.
"The seven..deadly sins.."

The simply way it looked and the words it uttered assured everyone in the bar that the horror story was true and that the rusted knight was there to kill them.
Ghaos erupted as everyone screamed and scrambled out of the building while Elizabeth abs Hawk remained, both shaking for entirely different reasons.
"Who are you?" Elizabeth asked, but she was already sure.
