Salt: what is it?

Pepper: *holds both her hands and looks her in the eyes* look, salt, we've been friends for over 9 years now. I care so much about you. You were always there for me. You were always by my side. But..i..i wanna be MORE than friends!

Salt: ....

Pepper: salt..will you go out with me?

-salt's hands gently fall out of Pepper's-

-pepper's heart breaks into a million peices she holds back the tears. She can feel a lump form in her throat-

Pepper: y-yeah..okay..well, i gotta go do something now.

Salt: you okay?

-pepper runs away-

She runs. She just wants to get away from it all. She can feel the tears flying from her face as she runs. She regrets it all
