That Saturday, the boys did end up meeting as promised. Currently, they were gathered in an abandoned area which had formerly been a skatepark. The boys were seated in a row on the top part of a quarter pipe and were attempting to scare the wits out of each other by sharing horror stories which were nothing near scary. Chase believed that they didn't deserve the title of horror stories and should be renamed to comedic stories instead. 

"You know, I'm glad this worked out," Chase confessed once all of them had fallen dead silent. "We haven't hung out as a whole group in a long time."

"Yeah, it's been like a month or something," Oliver gaped.

"Four months," Jason stated.

"I stand corrected," Oliver chuckled. "Anyway, weren't we talking about girlfriends the other day?"

"We were," Tyler nodded. "Why? You're ready to mingle?"

"Ew, when you say it like that I'm not," Oliver gagged. "I was actually just curious about Zero."

"Me?" Zero questioned with a raised brow. "What about me?"

"You never really talk to us about girls. In a way, you're kind of like Chase," Tyler snorted.

"Maybe they're both secretly dating behind our backs," Oliver gasped.

Chase was about to tell them to cut it out, however, he was cut off by Zero's chuckle. He looked over at said male in surprise. Zero was looking down at his lap with a shy smile, his cheeks resembling pale skin that had been irritated by the sun because of how red they had turned. 

"You're.. blushing?" Chase smiled. 

Zero bit the skin on the inside of his cheek nervously before looking over at Chase, "I-.. just wasn't expecting that."

"You know, it looks like the two of you fancy each other," Tyler teased, wiggling his eyebrows playfully which earned him a smack on his arm from none other than Chase himself. 

"Cut it out," he warned.
