day fifteen.

That day at school, Chase's mind was occupied with images of how Zero had reacted when Chase had explained his theory behind Zero's name. Zero didn't respond, he just sat there with the most obvious blush on his cheeks and a smile so genuine that the corners of his eyes gave way to small wrinkles. Chase found the sight captivating, to say the least.

And even though an entire day had passed since that incident, he was still busy reliving that moment in his mind - over and over and over again.

"Why is it that every time we're talking, Chase always looks like he's in an another dimension?" Oliver scoffed, waving his hand in front of a now fully-awake Chase. He apologized under his breath and carried on emptying his plate, his mind still threatening to drift off elsewhere.

"Why? Did you and Zero get it on the night that he stayed over at your place?" Tyler teased.

Chase shot Tyler a quick glare - however, it went unnoticed by him.

He glanced over at Zero who showed no reaction to what Tyler had said.

"You guys are most definitely gay, what a bunch of fairies," Jason snorted.

It was obvious that Jason was just joking around - and usually the boys would have laughed with him. However, now that Chase knew what had happened to Zero in his past, it had triggered not one but both of them.

He glanced over at Zero once again, hoping that he was alright - however, when he saw how white Zero's knuckles had turned from holding onto his cutlery too tightly, he knew that he wasn't.

He was just about to tell Jason off, but Zero suddenly stood up and dashed straight out of the cafeteria. The group could only sit and watch in confusion.

"Wha-," Oliver began, however he was cut off when Chase suddenly stood in his place and raced right out of the cafeteria along with Zero.
