Zero didn't go to school that day and neither did Chase. Tyler, Oliver and Jason had attempted to reach Chase numerous times but he simply switched his phone off and set it aside for the entire day.
Zero didn't get out of bed either. He simply lay there, staring at the ceiling without saying a word.
Time to time, Chase would enter the room and call him to the dining room for breakfast - however, Zero refused to move. So, Chase had to carry the plates over to his bedroom for Zero.
Even after having done so, Zero refused to eat. As a result, Chase tossed the food away on the street nearby for the stray cats to feast on.
He even attempted to bring Kitty to Zero in hopes of cheering him up. However, he realized it would never work - because for some reason, Kitty looked just as miserable as Zero did.
So the day passed on like that.
Chase made multiple attempts to converse with Zero - each time he was met with the cold shoulder.
Zero didn't say a word to Chase that day.
He didn't even look at him with those dark eyes that Chase desperately yearned to see.
